Maybe an "Imp & Skizz Learn How" series where the two of you try to learn new skills starting from scratch. It could cover a wide range of things: riding a motorcycle, riding a unicycle, make sushi, first aid, go sailing, etc. You could even include experts/teachers as guests.

Ok replying to this one cuz I had the thought of "Imp and Skizz learn to draw" and that seems to go along similar lines to this. Idk if anyone else has already said this or exactly how viral it would be but I do know that I (an artist who draws a lot) would probably find it entertaining (and tbh so would a lot of other artists I know) to watch Imp and Skizz try to figure out drawing lol. Just a thought kind of piggybacking off this

Maybe tour the spots mentioned in the previous podcasts (schools, radio towers, broken fences). Season 2, imp and skizz go international

The sad thing is that it would be quite expensive, and maybe not combinably with both having a family and wanting to keep up their main channels. It's a good dream to have though! It would be very enjoyable.

It is possible though, people roadtrip all the time, realistically to visit all 50 states it takes about a month, however a single line across the u.s. hitting a few major locations of interest could take only about a week - 2 weeks, yes it would be a lot of time and effort but they did say they wanted to do something big, and plentyyyyy of youtubers take short week long vacation. @@Windeycastle

Small suggestion... Lean on your friends who know the things you don't. You leaned on impulse's wife for studio design, for the best reason. Do the same with Mumbo for camera/filming questions. See how he and Grian did some of their IRL videos. Lean on Scar for exploring theme parks if you're going to do a video with that. Etc. As for ideas on what else I'd like to see, just interesting to see you hang out with the rest of JITS/ZITS, the Hermits, the Lifers, etc. Those are great.

I think it would be cool to do "minecraft cave mining" irl. You have a local guide & instructor that teach how to enter and navigate a cave, put down lanterns, look for mineral deposits, and maybe you get to find a geode or some crystals to bring home.

Or even, do the escape room one at a time, and it’s a competition to see who can finish it faster. Or both, you do one together to get a feel for it and then you do the competition.

Oh man if there was an actual Imp & Skizz IRL channel where they tried out unusual hobbies, it would be hilarious if they joined a Quidditch team. My university had one as a club and I wasn’t athletic enough to join back when I was in college but it would be funny to watch them give it a shot I’d also love if they tried a cooking challenge the way Tango and Zedaph did with the bound hands but maybe something slightly less messy for the sake of their wives and families afterward 😆 (like not being able to talk at all. Just voice overs afterwards)(or they take turns being blindfolded and the other has to verbally direct the first through everything)

There are "wife carrying" races, running in high heels, Santa runs, box boat races, lumberjack contests, pole dancing contests, etc. You could also learn to do things like different crafty things. You could have Mrs. Impulse "commission" a piece of furniture from you and you work together to complete the order. There are bird calling contests, pig calling contests, screaming contests. You could have your creator friends challenge you to do a thing or teach you how to do a thing.

An amazing podcast. Lighthearted and made my Friday morning. To take from Imp’s idea. Do all the odd tournaments: Jump Rope, Hobby Horse (that is what it is called), Cornhole, etc. You start of in the tourament with no prep (bring attention to tournament) then afterward you learn the skills of said tournament. Bring attention to small restaurants that people might miss out on (Similar to Diners, Drive ins and dives) as opposed to showing the make the food just talk about what the food tastes like. I love the box car race, but you also should do Sky diving / wind tunnel training, scuba diving. You could call the segment “Imp and Skizz’s Bucket list.”

Ideas? I love making ideas! -Do a puppet show -Write a song -Drumming 101 with Imp & Skizz -Make scavenger hunts for each other -Spy on a friend (but very conspicuously) -Paint each other's nails, do each other's makeup, spa day, etc: try more "feminine" things you wouldn't normally do -Find the Holy Grail (dress up, interact with strangers, etc.) -Revisit places you haven't been since you were kids -Escape room I would absolutely LOVE to see an Imp & Skizz IRL channel! Remember its your friendship and your wonderful personalities that makes you unique, not what you do. I can't wait to see what you come up with! :D

This was such a great listen! I think it was the chairs that gabe you a boost of inspiration! One idea for the series - you could do things IRL that you've been doing in video games....build a gondola (crafting a boat), build/plant a garden for some place in the community, ghost hunting trip, have a lemonade stand (plate up), etc. Whatever you do, would be fun!

Before even looking through this, gotta just mention, as a line in appreciation of "talks". One of my all time favourite minecraft episodes - the only one I've actually revisitied, is one with Etho, Guude, BDubs and a couple of other players, in a maybe 90 minute video, at the start of a Mindcrack season. They gathered resources, messed with other players and constantly just talked about anything and everything. So keep this going and don't be afraid to adapt it into some version into other video formats as well.

Whatever you end up doing, just make sure you aren't doing it because someone else did it and it went viral. Do something you love and that puts good into the world (and maybe have some fun along the way)! Because that's what I see when I watch you guys. Two genuinely positive people who love well and laugh often. I could honestly see you doing an IRL version of "Affirmation Time" where you surprise people (whether it be deserving fans or other content creators), tell them how great they are and do something awesome for them to make their life better. I'm sure you could easily find corporate sponsors to help fund the surprises. Then of course you would eventually have to do an IRL version of "Naked and Scared" (youtube appropriate obvs). Although it might have to be a channel finale, because you would maybe, but most definitely, die in the process...

Since Impulse has the studio with a kitchen, cooking videos testing viral recipes or your favorite ones would be really neat to see you two interacting in a IRL cooperative setting! Could turn it into a whole sub series using your favorite recipes current or from childhood!

Another idea would be to take a job (think: street sweeper driver, barber, etc. Another idea: each of you share one thing on your "Bucket List" and see if you can each help the other accomplish it.

hellooo, spotify listener here. this podcast is one of my favorite parts of friday and you both are honestly a natural at keeping the conversation flowing. Earlier in the episode you both discussed how minecraft on youtube is kinda taking a downturn. I think it would be extremely interesting since a large amount of listeners do come from both minecraft channels, to go into more depth on this topic. There are clubs/associations/competitions for all sorts of things….boxcart build/race, Lego building, cosplays, bbq, floral arrangement competition, needlepoint….each thing you go after has to start with joining the association, research, reviewing past winners/shows….start with your local county/state fairs….4h clubs….try to enter different categories to win ribbons. Fyi, there’s even a boxcar style race which involves coffins as the cars. Imp and Skizz Go Out On A Limb

As an outdoor enthusiast I'd like to see you guys go out and try to survive for a weekend, or even one night. bring some basic tools and you can put your "carpenter" skills to the test with some primitive shelters. I have been a veiwer for a while and here are a few video ideas, both for the podcast and imp and Skizz irl: a podcast on emotions, or family specifically with the questions of have you ever gotten angry/ in an argument with a family member or another content creator and your favorite moments with the same. Irl videos of learning random hobbies such as cooking, sewing, mechanics, art. A fun video would be to go ghost hunting irl, but make it super obviously faked.

This was such a fun podcast to listen to! Honestly, I think your ideas could be broken down further, into production-based and event-based content. A lot of the ideas that were shot down were less about the process and creation, and more about cultivating a narrative surrounding a cool “event” (ie: the hot air balloon). I just wanted to take a moment to thank you both. Every week I look forward to this podcast. You guys never fail to make me laugh while at the same time making me think about what ever the topic of the day is. Last week was different though. Early last Friday morning my mom died. I can't really explain the state of mind I was in but I took the time to still sit down and watch the podcast (I don't think it fully sank in so I need to re-watch it). I can't even explain how that effected me. Just an hour to go back to normal life in that day meant so much to me. I was able to some what clear the numbness that had set in and clear my head at least to some degree. I can't explain it fully but it meant so much to me and I can't thank you enough for that.

When you talk about trying various hobbies, etc, there's at least one KZbinr I know of that does exactly that kind of thing: Michelle Khare. She does a "Challenge Accepted" series where she tries various difficult things, usually doing a bunch of training beforehand and culminating in a final challenge. I look forward to whatever you guys come up with. If I think of anything good, I'll pass the idea along (but I'm not very good at ideas; I would make a terrible KZbinr :P ).

Upload an old imp and skizz video but everything is backwards or otherwise changed Recreate some of the stories from the "We're Idiots" episode Play a board game together Lightsaber/Sword fight Nerf War Bbq vlog Find a random world record and attempt to break it. Office pranks against eachother Team building games A day in the life of Imp/Skizz Vlog A spoof version of imp and skizz with your wives/kids instead of you Playing minecraft together irl, but one of you controls half the game and the other controls the rest(Or another game, since this is an easier to on Controller based games) Food fight 2 truths 1 lie with pies in the face if you are wrong I basically typed the entire episode Lol Hopefully something in my list inspires you! 🥰

An " Imp & Skizz Go" channel where you find people who do interesting or obscure jobs/hobbies, interview them or even try their craft. Go interview a helicopter pilot and try flying it with them! There's tons of little adventures here in az you can try and then learn about their crafts behind the scenes! I'd love to see Imp and Skizz just having a blast together and feel like I'm living one of the stories you guys tell from back in the day.

The Imp and Skizz Bucket List could be the whole channel! Each episode trying something you want to try! Fly a Helicopter, brew beer, learn carpentry…. Skizz can build a box car! They don’t have to all be huge, but we al always like ‘I want to try that…’ all the time and you could do it! Somethings one person really wants to try and the other doesn’t but that’s how it goes!

I think it would be interesting to see the two of you try to learn how to knit and crochet. The final project would not be that big, but you would make a dishcloth. It is low tech, you could easily film the progress of trying to learn, plus you would show how far you have gotten on the dishcloth and in the end you would have a small item that you could use in your home. It also wouldn't matter how bad it looked, it would be about the journey.

I LOVED this episode!!! Listening to you guys basically forget you're recording a podcast and just get completely silly is the best! Here's my idea for a video... Life-swap.... Impulse and Mrs. Impulse move into the Skizz house for 24 hours, and Skizz and Mrs. Skizz do likewise. The twist is that Impulse has to wear stilts to make him as tall as Skizz THE ENTIRE TIME. And Skizz has to live on a schedule Impulse writes for him, detailing everything from doing chores to taking a dump, zero flexibility in the schedule at all. And during the same day they each Livestream together except from each other's studios.

Video Idea: record yourself doing a 2 ish hour “stream” and in the recording say you are not going to read chat because it is “down for some reason” then do a couple of them then live stream on 3 different platforms and show the recordings, then call a couple of your friends while you are “Streaming” and see if they notice

Remember watching the journey of a project is just as cool as seeing the finish project. So a project may take a month but instead of waiting a whole month for the video then show the progress in small chunks as you work on the project.

I find this facinating as someone who want to do content creation. I want to make a whole ton of different things, cooking, videogames, improv, vlogs, podcast that touches on more real topics kinda like this one. For me the struggle is finding one thing that i would consistently like to do. I have to always be making something new or different and i often don't spend long enough on something to become an "expert" i make sure i gain competency in it yes, but after I'm competent i have no desire to push further or be the best. I instead feel the drive to find a whole new avenue of life to explore. Which makes it hard when KZbin is trying to push people to do the same thung all the time. I just make stuff and hope that my personality itself is enough to keep people watching whatever i decide to make.

One of my favorite moments is when he tried to take 3 hearts from you with an enderman 😂 you totally knew what was going on but you still went along with it and idk it might have been over 6 hearts it ended up taking... Leads into my absolute favorite moment which is when you are trying to redeem hearts for him from other players gifting and you go to Scar of all people, and that moment is the absolute best IMO ! I love the Life Series 😂😂❤

- both build a trebuchet, competitions for distance and accuracy - learn to mime, some competition to accompany that - speed painting a random 'thing' ('thing' could be assigned by a special guest, maybe a hermit?), and guest would also be the judge - some kind of survival/endurance challenge since you're both in the furnace that is AZ, iirc - learn a new thing, motorcycle safety course or similar - minecraft quiz but with distractions (dog collar on your leg to zap you, paintball to the back, something with a sting but not truly painful) - long term project (learn something hard, build something cool, make it a several month series to show progress) - do a travel-based vlog (travel somewhere and take a surfing lesson w/competition to follow) - do a tour of a cool place/facility/factory, something, then try to build or emulate that product yourselves

This made me think of what Zedaph used to do on the Kris and Jack channel. Trying new hobbies and sports would be a good way to make an entertaining video without sacrificing too much time. You could also get pretty silly with it: Invent a sport; see how many strangers you can get to hug you; DIY robot fight club. Some ideas that might take some time/money: •Put together a play or a production of some kind. Write the script, build the sets, ask some friends to act in it with you. •Get involved in a project to improve your community. Maybe there's a park or a building nearby that needs to be restored. You can get friends and neighbors involved and do something that will benefit everyone. •In your last podcast you talked about some of the goals your already trying to achieve. You could record your progress and compile it into a video after a set amount of time. •Put together a list of places you've always wanted to see or things you'd like to do, then try to make it happen. •Compete to grow the best vegetable garden. Do your research to find out what grows best in your climate and how to care for it.

The best thing you have going for you is that the interaction between the two of you is priceless! You are golden together and people will watch anything you do. The studio idea is great! Give all the rationale into the decisions you make so viewers get the story from deciding what you need, what you want, and everything it takes to make a set up that works, while minding budget and capability restrictions. That is everyone's reality. Ice hockey (with Tango, of course) is good. Lesions for flying a helicopter would be good since you seem to think you have it down, Imp.

Imp - You are one of my favorite Minecraft creators. I came to hermitcraft like most people...through Mumbo. But you have quickly become my favorite. And part of that is your non-hermitcraft stuff. Your hardcore world that you were doing with the base built into the side of a mountain was great. I've been watching both of you for a long time (Impulse since your induction into Hermitcraft in s3, and Skizz since early-ish in the N&S series), yet this is the first time I've commented on one of your videos. It feels too important not to put in writing that the magic in all your best content together is your genuine friendship. I would watch the two of you do pretty much anything as long as you're working on it together, and you're enjoying it. Heck, I just watched 55+ minutes of you both daydreaming out loud and it was great, because your joy is contagious. :) Since you asked for suggestions, it feels like "challenge videos starring friends with great chemistry" is a genre you two would thrive in (you already do with N&S in a Minecraft context). Yes, even if some of the moments in the narrative are about failure! :) I would just as readily watch you giving each other pep talks and working through impossible problems together as the victorious moment where you've finally run into each other in giant inflatable spheroids (+1 to that idea, too, hehe). In storytelling, the journey is often more important than the outcome, and to sum up my point: you two are protagonists worth rooting for, no matter what story you choose to tell us.

Honestly I'm a sucker for watching people cook so if you guys did a/some cooking videos I'd personally go nuts for it no matter what you were making. Family recipes, favourite foods, trying unfamiliar recipes, making Minecraft food (eg the classic Minecraft cake, suspicious stew etc) And regarding Skizz's brewing beer suggestion: I don't know if this is a thing that happens in american schools but here in New Zealand it's common for little kids in science class to learn to brew ginger beer (which has NO alcohol, I think you might call it ginger ale over there?). It's super easy, has less sugar than bought sodas, there's loads of recipes online, the risk of explosion is low enough kids are allowed to make it so you guys should be fine, and when it's done it's either delicious or an important lesson in microbiology. I'm pretty sure it takes less time to brew than regular beer too, so you won't need to wait months and months to finish the video :)

You talked about maybe brewing beer or making soda but those don't fit with your other goals. I totally think you should make Kombucha instead. You talked about making the box car from scratch, starting with buying the wood, and I think that's cool. On a related idea, I think it would be cool to go even further and learn to cut down a tree, cut down a tree (and plant one to replace it) and make something with the wood from that. (Also, tree cutting is one of the most dangerous jobs, so do keep that in mind for "is this too dangerous") Would your (adult) kids be interested in being in a video? Doing something with them could be cool, like a few times you've talked about them wanting you to work out with them and stuff.

Not sure if either of you are interested, but I feel like you'd be very interested in Joel Haver. He makes youtube videos, he's very funny, and he makes films. His approach to how film and video art can be accessible to anyone and everyone is very inspiring. A very "just do it" mentality. If you have an idea for something you wanna do, do it. Nothing has to be perfectly planned or prepared, it can be an impulsive thing and still come out great, while not taking so much sacrifice. Feel like I'm rambling, but I just wanted to share Joel's artistic ideals to you two because I feel like it could only benefit your passions! Good luck guys ✌️

To green screen or not to green screen: Balance is the key as in everything, obviously. I have seen some streamers that have so much stuff that it is too distracting. There is a difference between detail and clutter crap. Impulse's change light color thing is simple and fun. It does not take away from his presence or the content. Personally, I'm in it for the personality and the content. If the background is cool, bonus. Jimmy/Timmy has no green screen and just his plain old bedroom in the background. Don't care. His personality and content is so much fun that I really don't even think about his background. In fact, I watched this video already yesterday and as I was listening on Spotify just now, my brain said "oh yeah!" It took me that long to remember so, obviously, isn't an issue for me. This was a super fun episode! I'm old so it will take my brain a while to simmer properly for ideas. When I have a brain fart, I'll let you know. :) Love your faces. :)

Along the line of those funny/odd sports (extreme ironing competitions, hobby horses, etc), you could do occasional specials where you go visit another KZbinr from the minecraft community and do an activity that they've signed you up for. That way you're not just going in with no skill, but also cold turkey. I realise that that's more complicated, and requires travel, but it could be very fun once or twice a year
