Day needs to go back to 60% throwing and 40% running. He was that until the 2023 season. Take the 2022 offense and this defense and their not losing. Absolutely pathetic that they didn't try to win on the perimeter with their receivers this game!

If you look at the stats you will see that they did this. They passed much more than they ran. Look at the number of incompletions. If you could replace half of those with a 3 yard run it would be a different story. Michigan had a rough year but they still have an elite defensive line and decent secondary. I think the QB just got rattled after that hard hit on the scramble. Michigan played to this. They only rushed 4 most plays and they were able to get pressure. They double teamed OSUs top receivers many times and were able to get pressure with the front 4. That’s really hard to generate offense when that happens. I think if they ran more they would’ve won. Don’t forget the 2 missed fgs also.
