DNUTN never fails to leave me speechless. I believe the scene between rakhi and Jimmy deserves ALL the awards possible. Yumna and Wahaj are brilliant actors and they complemented each other SO well that it raises the bar very high for other actors, atleast in my eyes. Glad to see Naseem Zehra is not giving up and what I love in this drama is the positive side of social media that they're showing and how we can use this as a power tool. Also happy that Sawera baji took a chance and ran away. Hope she gets out alive as well. Still intrigued about Zulfi and Seemi Raheel. I love that the drama is keeping things mysterious. Jitna appreciate karein Amna mufti, Kashif bhai aur POORI cast ko, Kam hi parega. There is literally not one character who seems out of place.

Just today I was watching an episode of Ishq Zahe Naseeb and I saw this scene of Yumna and Zahid.......ufff that moment was timeless! That mystery in her smile, that menace coating her body language, that serene sarcasm....man o man......what a SUPERLATIVE delivery of emotions.....so very underrated.........Ishq Zahe Naseeb turned out to be a bummer because of the dragging but nothing can take away from the way Yumna handled the character of Shakira with such finesse (not that I am taking away anything from Zahid and Sonya as both of them were excellent beyond belief especially Zahid but since this is a Yumna-centric post, I'll focus on her here). Then came Pyar ke sadqay and she enthralled me deeper in her charm. That dramatic shift from the enigmatic Shakira to the innocent Mahjabeen, only Yumna Zaidi can do it! Her spunk, her sincerity, her innocence, her adorable audacity......uffff Yumna nailed it from start till end.....in fact I have to say if it weren't for Yumna's beloved portrayal of Mahjabeen, Pyar ke sadqay wasn't even on my list as it had the same regressive theme as Fitoor.....but only for Yumna I watched it and I don't regret it........and then comes Dil na umeed tou nahin........A SPARKLING MASTERPIECE IN THE TRUEST SENSE OF THE WORD! From the story to the direction to the performance to the production value, anything and everything about it is so beautifully raw, so painfully riveting! It is relatively easier to shine amidst an array of mundane characters but when everything around you is so extraordinary, it takes supreme command over your craft to stand out.....and Yumna continues to do it over and over and over again.....I can't even remember the number of times she mesmerized me with her oh-so-organic performance in this drama....and this episode was no exception to the rule.....and matching her excellence, moment by moment, was Wahaj Ali....it'll be unfair not to praise his wonderful acting in the latest episode of DNUTN....it was very easy for him to be outshined by Yumna but man, did he sparkle or what! Seriously I am running out of adjectives here...........Kashif Nisar should never take a break or else we'll be stuck with crap like Fitoor, Shehnai and Khuda aur Mohabbat.

DNUTN is turning out to be a nail biter. It sucks you in with its storyline and it is not even a mystery drama. Very well written, directed and acted. Wahaj and Yumna were the stars of the episode for me. You expect Yumna to be faultless but Wahaj has been able to step up time and again. His eyes are a window to his soul and his expressions are so on point. He has been able to build an enviable body of work in a short span of time. I agree that Naumaan Ijaz's character does not seem to be bad but he does have some connection with Zulfi. I think they will meet next week and things will be clearer. They seem to be working together on a mission.

I think one thing about Sumbul from DNUTN that many don't realize is tht when a person goes into a traumatic situation, whether it's becoming a prostitute or getting sexually assaulted, sometimes the child can form 2 personalities, one personality tht is used to cope with their situation, the other which is the true person's personality. This is a coping mechanism since sometimes the brain needs to escape into another personality to actually deal with what's going on. Thts why Sumbul was given a completely new name, to wipe off her previous life and seperate tht from her life now.

I love how Amna handles criticism. Being a woman, I know she is very sensitive towards women being trolled throughout their lives one way or the other and men get away with so much so easily. DNUTN first scene was mind blowing, heart wrenching and extremely sad, the way Wahaj and Yumna performed that intense scene truly deserve all the praise of audience specially critics. I don't know how many time I watched that scene perhaps to point out any single mistake I found nothing but perfection. This drama reminds me of Sahira kazmi's plays. Close to reality, soulful and unique. I don't know the connection between naseem zehra and zulfi's mother but I must say there is someone very close to her got lost and Zulfi is trying to find her probably he has some clues that he'll find that person in red light area or might be Swera is the lost person.... perhaps her sister, who knows

'Aakhir Kab Tak' is the most pathetic drama I have ever come across currently. Though they are trying to highlight a very sensitive topic but they are far from reality - there's no sensibility - the mother's character is so irritating who has 10 kilos of make- up on her face at all times and top notch eye brows made as if she makes frequent visits to the parlor despite of being beaten up by her husband, then she has character flaws : doesn't stand up for her daughters - expecting them to suffer like she did all her life. Writers and directors need to stop glorifying these kind of characters - It's high time to show strong independent characters so people who are getting suppressed can understand that they need to come out of such miserable situations - bullying woman or making her a sacrificing lamb is not normal! Aurat maarti,kutti kab tak dikhayenge aur suddenly ek miracle takes place woh bhi kissi hero ke aane se saari cheezein theek hojaati hai.Aurton ke huquq pe baat kare aur inhe glorify kare so people are aware of all the injustice that takes place in our Asian societies. This drama is so unrealistic - if you are touching a sensitive topic have the sense to portray in much much sensitive and realistic way so people can relate and understand how to overcome a challenge like this.

I don't think it's nizami cuz when earlier bary sahab calls aunty and tells her to get rid of Sumbul, she says to herself something like that she has already made a deal with nizami sahab so she can't do it.

Ikram is referring to sumbal as "apni jaan"... he's been asked to kill someone who was once his own jaan. I think in one of the earlier episodes (first 10) savera makes mention of ikram's fondness for sumbul as well. But as we know, his fondness doesn't overshadow his duty

Last week I have seen interview of yumna zaidi specially for the fact that she is going to give details of her character in DNUTN and I just kind of judge how she talks and I was just amazed totally blown away that while yumna zaidi was talking in the interview she was not sila (from dar si jati hy sila) ,she was not Hajra from ( Inkaar), she was not seemed like musk,she wasn't like Mahjabeen and lastly not she seemed like she played sumbul in DNUTN.....I mean just yumna in real was completely an other character .....I still can't believe that she has done such amazing characters, as for now I just can't do any thing to praise her but hats off to her. And as for the previous episode of DNUTN it was a complete thriller I mean you just don't feel that even a second you don't get anything....full packed with performances...again hats off to you yumna and also wahaj.

In DNUTN Savera did not take the new girl with her when she escaped the brothel as the new girl was hurt in her legs and she had trouble walking or running. Taking her along would have jeopardise her escape.

I really want to acknowledge Aamna's strength of character and thoughtfulness to take the criticism on her opinions so beautifully since I was one of those who very firmly but respectfully disagreed with her. She has my heart and my respect because of that. #muchloveandrespectforyouaamna The only drama I'm watching in this episode's review is DNUTN and I don't have words to describe how relatable it is because of how brilliant the storytelling, acting and direction is. A lot of love and support for the entire cast. The reminiscences of Rakhi and Jamshed, the trauma of Rakhi to develop into Sumbul and the hurt for Jamshed to learn of how his mother lost her mind was presented so amazingly. Really intrigued by Zulfi's track and his relationship with his mother and the allusion to the 'khamoshi toofan ka paish khaima' monologue! The scene between Ikram and Sawaira and her escape was chilling to say the least. Naseem Zehra's determination and her mother's support, the sisterhood shown is so endearing and ofcourse the darkness of their father and Naeem saheb's characters makes one's blood boil. I do not waste any time on routay dhotay serials, the typical nonsense saas bahu masala or the illicit affairs and love triangles storylines and neither should you guys....

I would disagree with Amna on Pardes when a woman doesn’t have a strong paternal background for instance if she’s an orphan or her parents are financially unstable then women do suffer like this. they cower in fear and deep inside they are insecure creatures on different emotional levels.pardes is a true depiction of reality it truly hits a chord.No matter how much the husband is supportive still their prime prerogative is to keep everyone happy in the circle. This sounds as a very cowardly approach , the main thought that rises when you see situations like this is why does'nt she stand up jo thora bhi bohath woh kar leti hain woh bhi bohath mushkil se frankly this a reality Zubi's charachter is etched in light of all these events. You have to experience or see women like Zubi to understand her. Sadly even in these times girls and women do go through similar events and attitudes. Women like her mother in law do exist in this age even.

The only drama I am enjoying is DNUTN. The remaining dramas this season are sorry to say are all glorifying women misery. Why do we have to promote suppressed women. There is enough depression in this pandemic times. At least these dramas should show the lighter side of life during these times

Excellent review !❤👌🏻 I feel like in the drama Dil Na Umeed to nahi zulfi's Bi jan might be Jamshed's mother and maybe she is searching for Jamshed because in the story it says that jamshed's mother ran away and was mentally unstable. So maybe thats one theory.
