You put out more content about Syria in a short time span at faster rate than you do about iz rails crimes in the mideast. I think you swallow too much regime change propaganda. You interview muslims who are themselves ok with regimes that are considered western allies or proxies. US, Iz rail and its allies cheer with you as they did with your kinds of usefull tools when they did the same with the help of other so called muslim opposionals doing else where like in Lybia, Iraq etc. Your obsession with the former leader is a double standard , why do you don’t wish the same for the highly corrupt pakistani western backed regime, or the gulf states, whose leaders sit on toilets more worth than what people can afford in a year for food, or the egyptian dictatorship or morocan one. Yet you cheer the fall of a leader hated by the enemy particularly for his support for the people in the south levant. These people you interview and the people they support like the militia leader who took over the capital of the land, what have they done for both the northern levant and southern levant people. The new leader even thanked iz rail on X against hesb illahand was constantly silent on what is done in ghasa, according to iz raili media they treated these al qaeda fighters who misuse islam if they are even real muslims and not a bunch of sephardic and misrahi mos sahd operatives, as it was exposed in at least one case in Lybia. It says literally in the Quran that you shall not take friends among the disbelieving enemies, yet you take izrail and its allies as allies, even though you claim to oppose them, see how this will turn out like the rest of the mideast. These foreign hostile “allies” get far more out of it and give hardly anything in return than a bad illusion of freedom. You really think these “moderate” is is and alqaeda rebels will turn suddenly against iz rail, when iz rail helped them in all those years in the destruction of the land, even reported by the enemy news media and leaked pentagon cables, while western powers celebrate them too, and their leader thanking all of them against the axis of resist…? You also realise that the supply lines for arms, but also much needed food for the resistors and suffering population in the south levant is now cut off, facing major defeat and expulsion or mass death, while their tormentors have a field day, destroying them and the whole region and undoing all the efforts by the alliance of resistors, especially when the new leader of sy…a hates them too? It’s due to sectarian fools like you whose naivety the enemies capitalise on, the muslim world burns. Also even in the end time prophecies in Islam it says the army freeing pal, will be from khorasan, the land including todays east Eeran, Afghanistan and its former regions in northern pakistan before durand line, under the leadership of the mahdi, which makes total sense as these are under the influence of no foreign power or hypocrites and throughout history repelled invaders or absorbed them. It’s also only then that the north levant and Constantinople/turkey will be freed, be it from the influence of nonbelieving enemies or hypocrites. Yet you sectarian fools turned your backs on iran and hesb illah, ansaralah, who sacrificed the most for the pal people, paying with their blood and loosing many of their most noble leaders. I’m not even a shia and can see that as anyone else without some nonsensical secterian bias. They are real muslims coming to the aid of their brothers, who unlike the gulf arabs who constantly profit from the enemies of the religion, or the turks despite their massive army still letting the oil flow, acted and didn’t just gave mere empty lip service. And yes Iran, only recently has become an ally of the rus people, but at the very least that’s based on clear mutual repsect and benefit, like in a fair trade relation which is not forbidden in islam, unlike with the west, coming often even at the cost of vast amounts of other muslims. The rus nation acted more in favor of muslims in recent time than both, many of these so called muslim nations and let alone the western powers, who allow their people burn qurans and express unconditional support for iz rails century crimes, while president WP of the rus, condemned the burning of qurans and even kissed it openly, something that few of the “muslim” western allied leaders did in that time. There’s nothing wrong with that kind of relationship that, unlike the major atlantic states which is always toxic relations for neoliberal and neoconservative interests and interventionism. While rus under president WWP is not the same, even in the time when reemerged, king najashi of abysinia and his realm, despite being non muslims, aided and protected the muslims, by gods will, from the persecution by the idol worshipping enemies. A relation with a non muslim people, that isn’t abused for harming other muslims, like with the atlantic powers and iz rail, or even benefits Muslims as whole more without any damage or is at least fair is not forbidden. Otherwise fair economic relations would be forbidden, which aren’t. If anything you are joyful for a major setback, that only after much more suffering of the people in the levant, that you don’t have to endure in your comfortable environments, will be undone. And also yes, it’s all in Gods hand and all is his plan to happen, yet it doesn’t mean you should sit back and cheer for false victories, that are in the present greater victories to enemies, but use your mind that comes with your free will. Maybe syrs new leader changes his mind on iz rail and its allies, but that’s not certain and you have to wait, even if he does, it was a strategic mistake for the region as whole, and will cause far more suffering thus for some more painful years. If turkey and the gulf states weren’t such cowards or hypocrites they would join the persian state and its allies, and all would be done, but yet again its this disgusting sectarian non sense and cowardice and their comfort that prevents that from happening and appeasing their western “allies”. That too was prophesied, the selfishness and lack of unity between many muslim nations and needless conflict and distrust.

DISCUSSION SUMMARY AND NOTES Al-Julani's Leadership and Transformation Abu Muhammad Al-Julani, the leader of HTS, is described as a softly spoken man who looks exhausted, but has the demeanor of a politician and a head of state, giving the impression that he is looking to lead a state at a critical juncture 01:54. Al-Julani's image has undergone a transformation, with him wearing a suit and tie, and being presented in a more positive light by the media, which could indicate that a deal has been made with the Americans or that the West has no choice but to deal with him 03:58. The US has dropped the $1 million bounty on Al-Julani's head and US diplomats have met with HTS officials to discuss a smooth transitional handover, but the West is still holding back on giving diplomatic acknowledgement to Al-Julani 07:48. The transitional government officials have met with American officials, and there are conversations about the future of Russian bases in Tartus and the strategic benefit of their presence 10:16. HTS's Preparation and the Syrian Arab Army's Defeat HTS has been preparing for four or five years, learning from their mistakes, and developing domestically manufactured hybrid weaponry, such as drones and artificial intelligence-based weaponry 12:24. The Syrian Arab Army relied heavily on Russian air power and Iranian militias, but was morally bankrupt and didn't understand what it was fighting for, leading to its quick defeat 14:34. The Syrian rebels, led by HTS, had sleeper cells in many cities and were more determined, prepared, and trained, which contributed to their success 14:48. The Transitional Government and its Challenges The new administration is promising an ethnically and religiously diverse government, but it remains to be seen if this will happen, and if the government will be representative of all of Syria and behave with justice towards everyone 18:03. The current Syrian government is a sectarian regime planted by French colonialists, with the Alawites, who make up 8% of the population, ruling over the 80% Sunni Muslim majority, which was designed to prevent anti-Western forces from assuming power 19:09. The transitional government controls around 80-85% of Syria, while the remaining 15% is predominantly held by the Kurds and areas occupied by Israel 20:07. The Millet System Proposal There is a conversation about implementing a modern Millet system, similar to the Ottoman system, which would allow religious minorities to govern and live according to their own traditions and customs in their respective areas 20:30. The Millet system is grounded in the Sunnah and would provide genuine pluralism, allowing different groups to rule and govern according to their own laws and customs 22:23. The Syrian Government's Response to Israel The Syrian government's response to Israel's ongoing attacks has been muted, with officials citing national unity and consolidation of the land as their priority 26:18. The government is aware of Israel's actions but does not have the capacity or appetite to prioritize a war with Israel, instead focusing on securing the land and unifying the Syrian people 28:02. The Syrian government faces challenges such as logistics, security, and resources, with hundreds of thousands of Syrians returning to a decimated country, with 60-70% of Syria in rubble 28:19. There is an expectation for the Syrian government to take a strong stance against Israel, with some critics arguing that the government's current stance perpetuates conspiracy theories about the Syrian Revolution being a US-led NATO plot 30:03. Questions are raised about why Israel never attacked Bashar Assad's regime, despite its military capabilities, and why Israel is now bombing the new government's military capabilities 32:00. The Impact on Iran and the Palestinian Cause The toppling of Assad and the weakening of Iran has impacted the Palestinian cause, with Iran having been dealt a severe blow, including the loss of key figures and the destruction of its land route to Syria 34:15. Iran is still a regional power, but it needs to ask existential questions about its support for Assad and how to rebuild relations with its neighbors, including Arab Nations and Turkey 36:33. Iran's influence in the region has been severely weakened by Assad, and it needs to reassess its position and involvement in Syria's policies 38:06. Comparisons with Other Revolutions The Syrian Revolution differs from Bangladesh's Revolution in that it was more violent, involved external players, and was led by an Islamist group, whereas Bangladesh's Revolution was relatively nonviolent and involved students from different backgrounds 39:50. The Syrian Revolution and the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan share similarities in their rapid nature and the promise of general amnesty, but they also have distinct differences, such as the Taliban's tribal society and the Syrian Revolution's more complex dynamics 43:25. The Arab Spring may not be over, and uprisings can be infectious, which could potentially lead to changes in countries like Egypt and Jordan 46:24. The Arab Spring showed that regimes and dictators can be removed, but the lessons learned from countries like Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, and Syria are that getting rid of a regime doesn't necessarily mean the end of the dictatorial deep state or the oppressive nature of the regime 47:30. Reflections on the Syrian Revolution and its Supporters The Syrian Revolution has succeeded in its aim of toppling the Assad regime, but the question remains what lessons can be learned from the experience, and why some supporters of the Palestinians, like George Galloway, Craig Murray, and David Miller, have become supporters of Assad and Russia 48:58. Egypt has been quiet on the Syrian Revolution, and there have been small pockets of protests taking place in the country, which could be a cause for concern for the authorities, and it's interesting to note that Abdul Fattah el-Sisi has not commented on the success of the Syrian Revolution 49:11. Some supporters of the Palestinians, like George Galloway, Craig Murray, and David Miller, have been criticized for their sudden support of Assad and Russia, and their use of language that dehumanizes and caricatures the Syrian people and their revolution 52:11. David Miller has been accused of damaging his relationship with many Muslim organizations and communities due to his comments on the Syrian Revolution, and his adoption of language and tactics used by imperialists to put down supporters of the revolution 54:27. Many Muslims have woken up to the reality of certain individuals' true stance on Syria, despite their initial support for Palestine, highlighting a disparity in their advocacy for the two causes 56:45. The Syrian conflict has exposed the hypocrisy of some leftists and anti-imperialists who justify genocide and war crimes in Syria, while condemning similar actions in Gaza 58:17. Educating the Younger Generation and Navigating Alliances The younger generation, particularly those under 30, may not be aware of the intricacies of the Syrian conflict and the various groups involved, making it essential to educate them on this important context 01:01:01. There can never be permanent alliances with non-Muslim actors, and Muslims should not be forced to choose between different sides, instead, they should navigate through complexities based on their values and worldview 01:02:00. Future Plans and Connecting with the Muslim World The journalist, Dilly Hussain, sees his future career involving building connections and bridges between everyday Muslims and key countries, while continuing to report on important stories and interviewing influential people 01:03:41. The goal is to connect Muslims with countries like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Syria that have struggled and sacrificed to remove tyranny and oppression, and to give back to these countries by visiting and harmonizing relations between them and the Muslim community 01:05:52. There is a need for advocacy and activism to create a synergy between different parts of the Muslim majority world, and Five Pillars is enabling this 01:07:28. In 2025, the focus will be on covering significant events in the Muslim majority world, such as those that occurred in Syria, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, and delivering content, interviews, and podcasts with key people in these countries 01:07:41.

Your point in Muslims defending against imperialist (right) and anti-imperialist (left) harm and forces is demonstrated by Afghanistan which literally resisted in many brutal wars against imperialist British, anti-imperialist left Soviets, and imperialist US and NATO. Afghans understand the pain and struggle of Syrians.

The way to make sure minority rights are respected is not the Western way of "liberal democracy". It's by starting with making sure the majority rights are not encroached upon. That is the cornerstone from which true safety can be established for everyone.

Love this channel for its historical religious interviews and the like. These political interviews have been a miss for me. Anyone with some knowledge in these topics can see, clearly what is happening in Syria. Being replaced from bad to worse. Like Libya - except it will be worse here because of its proximity to Israel. Sad to see.

Excellent interview. I was very skeptical, but perhaps I will be a little more open-minded. I’d hope for a non-sectarian state that supports the Palestinians & is united against the Zionists first and foremost. The forces against Moslems and the dirty war in Syria by the West and the part ISIS & AQ Jihadis played cannot be forgotten. I think only when Sunni & Shia unite politically against the Zionists and the stooge Arab states is the only way for long term communal success for Palestine.

I agree, and especially that everything is still unfolding Inshāʾ Allāh - إن شاء الله. I’m not an Islamic scholar in any way, but I’d like to share the following Hadith to reminds us: It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Before the Hour comes, there will be tribulation like pieces of black night, when a man will wake up as a believer but be a disbeliever by evening, or he will be a believer in the evening but will be a disbeliever by morning. And the one who is sitting will be better than the one who is standing, and the one who is standing will be better than the one who is walking, and the one who is walking will be better than the one who is running. So break your bows, cut their strings and strike your swords against rocks, and if anyone enters upon anyone of you, let him be like the better of the two sons of Adam. (i.e. the one killed, not the killer).” May Allāh ﷻ unite all the Muslims in the world and soften our hearts toward the just and wise community

39 Battles (Kitab Al-Malahim) (1591) Chapter: Nations Summoning One Another To Attack Muslims Sunan Abi Dawud 4297 Narrated Thawban: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Hizballah wanted to use Syria as a springboard for attacks on Israel and Bashar Al Assad wanted them to concentrate on the rebels more (that was the basis of the infighting between Syria and Iran). Others within Syria's military brass wanted to rely on the Russians more than the Iranians because they didn't want a stronger Shia presence within Syria, and that caused infighting as well. The veritable storms that brewed weakness within the ranks of Assad's army had become too much for any sort of unity to remain. Ukraine's long range attacks pulled Russia away from Syria, Israel bombing Lebanon pulled Iran away from Syria, the conditions had became perfect and the rebels then stormed the walls. The rebels have similar infighting amongst themselves and they're not impervious to the weaknesses that can remove them from power as well. What's funny after 5 years of "preparing for this" as Dilly said, is that they dont have any smoke left for Israel, and neither does their backer, Turkey. Nobody wants to deal with Israel and push her off the cliff, because Israel will nuke everyone before she'd allow anyone to take her down (Google: the Samson Option).

The Shi'a axis of Resistance outside of Palestine has always been militarily ahead of the game when it came to serving Isreal blows for their wickedness. But the Sunni Muslim world refused to ally with them, simply because they were Shi'a and the earliest amongst Muslims to declare Ali (as) as The Rightful, immediate successor to The Final Messenger. This is how deep it goes.

He says that the people of Syria see Russia as an occupier and oppressor at around 55:49. Okay, so if that's the case how come the rebels did not loot the Russian embassy on the way to Damascus (I mean they tore through the Iranian embassy) or attack the bases Russia has in Latakia and Hmeimim. These rebels have a confusing ideology.

@@Iraniansunnimuslim No, do not try to deceive me or detract from my comment as my eyes do not lie. When the HTS* rebels made their way to the Damascus they vandalized the Iranian* embassy but left the Russian embassy untouched. And Putin's photo still hangs at the military bases in North-West Syria. So what kind of warped ideology is that? They hate Iran* that is the region but adore white* skin Russia from far away that is not from their region. Self-hate and a confused ideology. The disorder has only just begun and that Christmas tree that got burnt is the first sign.

Syria must follow a democratic Muslim country like Malaysia and Indonesia who were inclusive and tolerant
@Yasen9911 сағат бұрын
This will be completely impossible. First of all, the external geopolitical environment is such that Syria, ravaged and impoverished, will be forced to take sides in the growing conflict. It will not be able to maintain a balance. Secondly, we need to see what economic strategy the new government in Damascus will implement. The external environment is getting more and more hostile and protectionist, the EU is beset by its own tensions and challenges - unlikely to come up with a comprehensive recovery program for Syria.
