Respect to you guys. Not an easy take to share, but it's the right one. This is the team every Jets fan wanted. Until we're eliminated let's stand behind our team. We've been under-performing, but that's different than not being good. I still have to believe in the potential. Also, we only have to be 9-8 to make the wildcard this year and our schedule is favorable

Main reason to maybe blow it up is how many good coaches are going to want to come into this situation next year? The main issue with the team is poor discipline, poor energy, and I don't see what coach would want to come in next year and be able to fix that.

Thought this was a 9-8 team before the season. Tough AFC but I was concerned about age at key spots and the run defense. Jets d line isn't as good as it was last year

This might be a little lengthy so if you choose to read stick around. The way I look at this team I see them finishing with a record anywhere between 7-10 and 9-8 and if they finish 9-8 there’s a chance they squeak into the playoffs if things go our way but assuming they don’t make it in there’s no way this this coaching staff and/or front office sticks around beyond this season I know Woody has spoken plenty of positive words about Joe Douglas even as recently as a couple of weeks ago when Saleh was canned and Woody spoke to the media and said he felt like this is the most talented roster this organization has ever assembled but you also have to take into consideration that Woody himself has started meddling and getting more involved in decisions over the recent weeks he fired Saleh, pushed to get the Davante Adams trade done, and he made sure that Reddick deal got done and they got him in the building this season so that tells you that Woody himself has gotten involved in Joe Douglas responsibilities which means he’s not fully trusting Joe to get these things that he himself feels will better the team can’t forget that Joe doesn’t even have a contract beyond this season he was never extended and I believe that was done on purpose to see where this team ends up at the end of this season before they make a decision about Joe’s future. In terms of the coaching staff Woody didn’t hire any of these guys it was Joe Douglas, Christopher Johnson, and Saleh once he got the job himself so Woody has no attachment to any of these guys if they don’t get this team to the playoffs Woody will have no problem moving on from them. As far as Rodgers is concerned he is a shell of himself that Achilles injury has clearly taken a toll on his mobility and quite possibly some of his confidence and decision making on the field the oline hasn’t been world beaters by any means but some of those sacks he’s taking are him holding onto the ball because his confidence isn’t there and he’s trying to force it and tbh I’m not even 100% convinced he’d want to return next season and I’m also not 100% convinced he should because I don’t see him getting better when he’s going to be another year older. What I think will happen and what I’m starting to lean towards wanting to happen is this team flat out needs to start over top to bottom listen Woody is not going to sell the team as much as we wish he would but he has to take another crack at finding a competent GM and HC and just hope he gets it done I’m not convinced he will because history has proven otherwise but it’s beginning to feel like the best option we have to making this team a competitor we basically have to hope that Woody stumbles into the right GM and in turn HC/coaching staff that can draft and develop a rookie QB and put a good team around him some of the pieces are already there if you reset with a rookie QB you can pay guys like GW and/or Sauce you have Olu and Tippman on a rookie contracts. I just think we need a reset and I get it we’re all tired of resets but this whole Rodgers experiment is getting ugly fast and it seems impossible that it will turn around atp if they prove me wrong I’ll be ecstatic but this week this is how I feel about where we stand

Maybe you two positive people will change your tune when they lose to the god awful patriots this Sunday. They aren’t a good team. There is no saving this team at all, they will never make the playoffs for god knows how long, it will probably hit triple digit years before they make the playoffs. Team fucking blows. Sauce, Garrett, Breece all extremely overrated by our fan base when they aren’t good players. SAME OLE JETS TILL THE WORLD ENDS
