alright but dont say we. ive been with the hornets bobcats hornets since i was a kid, i still rock with the hornets, but i rock with Miles bridges from a distance. I can understand business and relationship ties, but i only support him when he has on the hornets jersey. If it were up to me he would not be playing for the hornets org, but thats why im poor and the owners are rich. If you havent looked into the cases then just say so, but not only did he beat on his wife, he also choked her out. It was not just one time either, it was multiple different events with open cases involving the same victim, the wife. Enough evidence where we can see there is some real domestic abuse going on. Now whether the wife and miles bridges came to an agreement outside of the courtroom to help clear his name so they both could profit from miles bridges keeping his job and nba salary, that is unknown, so i wont speak on how the cases got dropped, or how the state arrived at that conclusion. So if any Hornets fans feel the same way i do about it just know you are not alone. I havent been to a hornets game since we brought him back. I dont think he was punished enough, and the lack of journalism done on his cases is/was pathetic, so fk espn also. I can find humor in a lot of things, ive had friends say idc what he did as long as he gets us some wins, but if we get serious for a moment about him i think the hornets can just do without it. Id literally rather us continue losing without paying miles bridges all that money, than paying miles bridges all that money and still end up losing. I have been supporting the hornets even though they have basically been the worst team in the east my entire life, but ive only felt a distaste in the hornets organization during this Miles Bridges fiasco. Once again, hes a good ball player, but i wish ownership went a different direction with this. prediction: sometime during the 2024 or 25 season, probably near the trade dealine tbh, the hornets will trade miles bridges to a contending team, or the hornets will make a huge trade with a team out west involving both lamelo ball and miles bridges (rockets, spurs, blazers, clippers, pelicans or the suns). I know it seems stupid to trade away our best players, but its a 100% going to happen the moment our ownership and management feel secure in our youth development, (smith jr, brandon miller, salaun, kj, tre mann, mark williams, josh green, and caps space and draft picks).

@@woomington ik you didn’t say you’d prefer losing over paying miles bridges lol bro he’s literally our 2nd best player right now I respect your stance but are we really going to keep dragging him for a bad decision he made like 2 years ago? It’s over and he’s here bringing him back made all the sense in the world fits with melo and miller and has all star potential people let their emotions cloud their judgement of bridges as a player just because they don’t like him or what he did to say we don’t need him as a losing organization might I add is absolutely ludicrous what have to hornets done to be in position to let go if anyone with that kind of talent idk about you but I’m tired of losing and bringing him back gives us the best chance to win rn that’s why the hornets brought him back

@@JAYN0CAPP sorry dude I hold morals over any sports teams or any type of wins in sports. And for 20$ million+ you can find another player that can produce wins and match miles bridges talent. The only reason he’s still on the hornets is because of Lamelo ball, if you don’t understand that part then I can’t help you. If you can forgive him and move on then that’s your subjective opinion, and I don’t have to agree with that. And incase you don’t understand my point of view once again, I’ll explain it this way. If Lamelo ball were the one to beat on his wife and put her to sleep and continue the domestic abuse afterwards, then I would feel the exact same way. I’m not changing the way I feel about the situation based on the persons celebrity or basketball talent. I’m judging him based off of his history of domestic violence partnered with my judgement or opinion of his personality. That’s why I mentioned my opinion separately from the “business” side of basketball. Because remove all emotion and opinions and just look on paper, if you can have miles bridges on your team, then you are a better team. Lucky for us life isn’t designed on paper, and we get to participate or not participate in the things we want. A choice was made to keep miles bridges on the team, I don’t agree with it and that it, nothing more. I’ll support my home team from a distance.

Completely agree on Miles - I was hoping for a S&T so we could clear out space for Brandon & Melo as the lead dogs and shift the culture of the organization (will Miles still have a big voice in the locker room?). Outside of his off court stuff, my issue with Miles is his defense - he’s one of the worst at his position in the whole league. If Coach Lee can fix that, I’ll change my tune.

Savvy summer so far from new bosses. They seem to want to give that young core a (fourth? fifth?) chance to finally rally up by just hiring glue guys and role players. I don't expect results will improve greatly yet, but I respect the patience. Now to fire the entire medical staff 😅
