I like the Metanium a lot. I also really fell for the Bantam as well. They have a lot of the same technologies but the Bantam is solid magnesium body. Very rigid and hair heavier. Both awesome reels!

Is expride 7’2” MH glass still a good option for chatterbait

Great question. I actually have that exact rod in my rod locker with a 3/8oz Chatterbait on. I still prefer that glass rod in super shallow, heavy vegetation situations. It’s the best fiberglass rod ever made.

When do you pick a 894 over 904 and vice versa? Jigs , plastics?

I like the 894 JWR for dragging baits. Anytime I’m using my rod to give the bait action. I use the MBR for reaction baits.

I recommend stop using so much casting rod. Your missing out on the spinning rod setup.
