I have been building my collection for around 10 years now so I definitely didn't buy everything at once. I did need to buy some additional storage furniture and items for my room but I already had a lot of it. You also definitely don't need as many colors as I do to be successful lol. I probably spent around $1500-$2000 on the additional furniture and other various items. If you need more supplies it may be a little more but you also can budget for these things and build it over time.

Katie, is the IKEA lamp all you use for your pictures? Or you use it in conjunction with the slimline lamp? Also, do you position the light on top of the hands or in front/side of them? Maybe you can make a video about taking nail pictures 😉

Hi! Great video! I have a quick question, so I’ve just started using luminary products & I love them the only complaint I really have is that all my clients experience heat spikes with it even on short nails (when it’s not built up too much) I have a kiara sky lamp & even on low heat mode my clients are having issues with that. Would you say the Akzentz lamp is the same way? I’m trying to figure out which lamp I should invest in before taking that leap. They aren’t cheap! 😩 thanks in advance

Yes the Akzentz lamp will still get hot but I have my clients go in and out to prevent it. Luminary makes their own lamp now with the low heat/flash mode.
