Speaking of "suburban" shoes, I often think about a lady from my church--when I was a kid, I noticed that she had shoes that had three colors, all on the same shoe! Yellow, lime green, and purple. That was my definition of "rich!" All I had was black patent leather Sunday School shoes and navy keds, and maybe a brown pair of oxfords that I avoided wearing. My life's goal at that time was to grow up and have a pair of colorful shoes.

I would love your take on glasses. Like actual prescription glasses. I feel like we have the same sense of “I want something fun but also timeless and that works for everyday” I struggle SOO much with deciding because I want statement glasses but they are so expensive and I don’t want to be sick of them after a week 😂

The bangs suit you well! I am so jealous since my hair is curly and it would take so much work for that look. I recommend Quince for gold. I bought their beaded gold hoops and they are amazing. I shower and never take them off. They hug less to your ear which is what I prefer for my first ear lobe piercings. They are super comfy. I plan to get those hoops you mentioned for my double helix piercings.

I had the same issues with my ears and did a bunch of research on solid gold Huggies. I ended up buying those same exact huggies from Quince and love them. I am even able to sleep in them and they're really comfortable!

The hunter boots... go for the green.. But not because it is classic, but because it does not go with your wardrobe.. to the fullest. Hear me out.. I love colors and personal colors. the blue does go with the colors in your wardrobe, but it goes too well, too matchy matchy.. meaning all cool and bright. I learnt the hard way ( my closet is waaay too cool toned) that all the color seasons need to show up ( in different levels and order for different people) in a good outfit. An outfit with an oomph.

I have super super sensitive ears and the only earrings I've been able to wear are the Mejuri Mini Hoop in 14k Gold! I've kept them in for seriously a full 2 years (obviously I took them out here and there to clean of course 😅 but yeah they are amazing!)

As the owner of three birkins and one kelly, you look at them as investments and the pain of spending the money goes away because you know when you're in a pinch you can get at least twice your original purchase price back. I’m walking 15-20 thousand steps in a day, especially in Brooklyn where you have to walk a mile to the train entrance. For me, that’s not comfortable. I could wear them on a date or short walks but I can’t justify the cost for a shoe I only wear once in a while.
