The reason why booting up the 3ds takes so long is because Nintendo in all their wisdom decided the 3ds should go through the entire sd when booting, exiting a game, returning to the home screen, etc.

Also, the long boot time is because your sd card may be almost full. The less stuff there is on your sd card, the faster the system boots

How comfy is the XL? My hands are pretty small so I was wondering if the size is too big for my liking :(

My hands are smallish as well and it’s actually a lot more comfortable than the regular 3ds in my opinion! So I think you should be fine 😊🩷

I think so! It is one of my heavier handhelds so maybe after a couple of hours it might start feeling uncomfortable but it hasn’t really been a issue for me
