@ hey I’m playing overseas in Germany right now as well in my rookie season I’m in meckenheim.. I’m Averaging 35 pts 12 assists 8 steals per game and shooting it very well and efficiently. I have the DBB app as well and been trying to contact or get in touch with other teams in higher leagues in Germany about opportunities about moving up.. how do the coaches or other teams reach out to me or get my information to contact me as you shown in your videos teams hit you up?
2 жыл бұрын
@@KennardTRobinson3 What division are you currently playing? If you are already playing in Germany and putting up those stats, it should be relatively easy to navigate. Use your team and network that you have established there and make your intentions known that you want to move up for next season. If that doesn't work and they won't help you, then look up teams in the higher divisions and literally show up to their gyms and talk to them. You are at a big advantage already being there and in the "system." Media contacts in Germany can also help as well.

can u talk about the fans outside of the BBL? are people actually come to the game or just scouts?
Жыл бұрын
Fans definitely come to the games - even at the lower-levels. But the gym capacities are less than the BBL so it won't be as crazy of an environment. Of course, it will depend on the club and city. But it is not unusual for lower-level leagues (Pro A,B, RL1, RL2, Ober) to have decent crowds supporting them.

Hello Jose, can you tell me what is the average salary for basketball coach in Germany?

Which level/division were you looking at?

Can you tell me how much a coach who works with kids and head coach who works in some lower divisions makes approximately?
Жыл бұрын
@@vasidopulos1542 From what I've seen, coaches in Regionalliga 1/2 and lower will make between $200 - $1,2000. But there's a catch. Usually coaches in the lower leagues will also take on another position as a sports director or even a teacher. So coaching is in addition to that. In other words, they're not getting paid for just coaching basketball. So if you are willing to commit all of that then it could be an option. Also, I'm told Germany is currently running a few training programs to get more German-born coaches into the system. So it may be a bit harder for a foreigner at the moment. Hope that helps.

Ignore the pfp but I play in the landesliga U16 at 14 yrs old, I average 13points 12 assists and 4 rebounds as a PG and I don't know how to see scouts or get them to see me. I'm trying to get my social media very basketball related for them to see.

Put together a basketball highlight reel of all your games and try to put your best stuff at the start of the highlights - tough drives, great passes, contested pull-ups. Also, you could use your current coaches as a way to network to bigger and better teams. Everything is six degrees of separation in Overseas Basketball - especially in a singular country such as Germany.
