Welcome back! I got sick right before my Achilles’ tendon surgery. It ended up being a respiratory infection. My surgeon had me do a per Covid test. I was Covid negative! I am still recovering from the respiratory infection a month later. I am feeling much better. I am glad that you are feeling better!

I am a Flight Attendant so I know all about the social media policies here at my airline also…it probably sucks, but it’s good that you’re abiding by their rules and regulations, NO sense in messing up 7 years of hard work over something said or done on social media. I want to say how much I appreciate flight attendants and the not only hard, hard work you do but also how wonderfully all that I have come across handle the work. I can't say it was standard but I flew two trips, Seattle to Atlanta and back a few months before the end of the pandemic. The attendants and pilots handled the situations masterfully. I know that wasn't you but at that time self entitled passengers were probably worldwide. I describe our society today as a "Me centered society" where most everyone is thinking about themselves. You as a Flight Attendant probably see that every day and for having to deal with people like that I say I'm sorry and thank you for the smile. You and Kelsey work well together. I'd love to see more of you both together. I've seen both the ones with five questions if there are more i hope to find them

Glad to see you back. Just to let you know that I really enjoyed Business Class on the A321T from JFK-SFO. The food and service was excellent. I was the only one who thanked the flight attendant. I love the Flagship Lounge at JFK. I was exposed to COVID in NYC and me and a family member got it. We had different symptoms. We were boosted, so it wasn’t terrible for us.

That’s bonkers to me, where I live in northern England almost everyone thanks bus drivers as they get off. It’s downright rude to not thank someone, in my local pub/restaurant people say thanks or turn around and wave as they leave. Almost everyone says thanks at the bar, thanks for the bar staff putting meal orders in, thanks when it’s brought, thanks when they come to ask if everything is ok & do you need anything, thanks as they take the plates and glasses/cups away. My American ex found it very strange, he’s an unsociable 😤😡🤬 tho 😂 He once sent me a text, an old lady was trying to talk to him at the bus stop, so what should he do? 🤦🏼‍♀️

It began with a severe sore throat, then went to throat and lungs. That cough was horrific, lasted months. Needed speech therapy after to get my voice back. Glad you're over the worst💞🤗

Long Covid is making news in headlines lately

I had C-19 in the first wave, before vaccines. The add on symptoms lasted for a year and they were awful - chronic fatigue, reduced lung capacity, muscle aches, brain fog, etc. I felt like I was an advanced senior. All my symptoms resolved within two weeks of my second vaccination. It was a completely unexpected after dealing with symptoms so long. I had a pretty profound reaction to the second dose. I had shooting shooting pains that started in my wrist and hand and radiated up my arm over a few days (like a severe carpal tunnel episode), some chills, extreme fatigue etc. After that, 7 days in or so, I realized that my long symptoms had reduced and were much better. I continued to improve. By three weeks out from the 2nd vaccination all my long Covid-19 symptoms were gone. I don’t know if anyone else had this happen, but for me it was life altering and completely unexpected….
