I was born and partially raised in Killeen, TX. Our barn collapsed, so we moved to NC when I was 13, in 2013. I have done many solo and group camping trips in the Appalachian Mountains, and it never ceases to amaze me how many strange things you hear and see out there. There was a time where, alone, I found what looked like a bomb/fallout shelter. It was a heavy, metal silo lid. A mixture of turquoise and rust. At one point, it had been opened, as it was left ajar. i could see inside with my handheld flashlight, and the rain from the days prior had filled most of the opening below. I went back to the lookout to get cell service to call my friends. We went back and magnet fished inside the bunker. We found an old-fashioned pocket watch with the initials “JM” engraved on it, a colt single army revolver finished in a blue steel with a leather-wrapped grip and some sort of flask with a faded polaroid strapped to it with twine. We spoke with some locals and avid hikers about our findings. Come to find out, the man inside (JM) had been hiking with his friend when he fell into the bunker and was unable to get out, as there was no ladder. It is unsure what his friend did or why he did not render aid, but it is clear that JM never got out on his own. It was a well-known event from the locals. Even the ranger that we called to confiscate the firearm knew exactly where we were when I recalled the events to him. I get goosebumps just thinking about it

I would also hear a weird noise that was like a bird chirp a cicada and a bull frog's croak all at the same some mixed together. I've seen UFOs as well, it was the usual lights, stuff people usually see so nothing special there. I've got more ghost encounters though, ranging to seeing figures and moving objects, loud bangs. Once on my window that I was right next to I heard a loud knock on it, it was on a porch so it would be hard to hide especially since there was a lot of clutter. I've had a lot of stuff that I don't feel like listing happen to me, all in the state I call home.

He did see a white angelic-like thing on his property across from a small pond, that was the only time he saw something that he could interpret as some figure. Every other time it is just bright lights or UFOs. He did research and spoke with others with similar experiences and from there concluded that it must be extraterrestrial and that the ones that experience these events are somehow connected by some ancestors. To this day guy is active in the UFO community and even has a relationship with the Pope who has helped him understand why he was experiencing the events. 2 of his kids do some type of work over at the Vatican and he has embraced it.

Next thing we know, the entire place lights up and this glimmering ball of light, probably around the size of an economy van floated over the LZ and just as it got to the other woodline, it hit a perfect 90 degree turn and flew off into the distance within a split second. I know meteorites do not accelerate coming out of a right angle like that. It seemed pretty low and quiet. And in pure South Park levels of absurdity, a convoy of black SUVs went flying down the main road that connects the LZs. That was enough that we went straight to our tent and said "Nope".

Our Government had something strange back then. There is no telling what they have now. If you witness something strange don't go near it, don't draw attention to yourself, and get away from the area (without getting caught). Don't talk about it. Don't try to take pictures of it. The best way to do it is to take 95 south thru each state and every so often in each state find an east-west highway and veer off to explore while each time finding your way back to 95 until you hit Florida. Then make your rounds in Florida because there's so much to do there (depending on what you're into). Then make your way up over to Rt 50 which runs east-west all the way to California with everything such as the Gulf Coast and Louisiana along the way. As you make your way through Cali heading northbound shoot over to Vegas and Colorado and from there up through the Rockies to Wyoming and Montana and whatever else interests you along the way. That's basically almost a gigantic circle around the country that if done right should take about 3 or 4 years to complete and depending on where you choose your end destination to be should be a mind blowing experience. At least that's what I plan on doing when I get my RV.

I had an experience in the NC woods with friends one night ill never forget. Been a hunter my entire life so i know the sounds of the woods. Long story short, was walking with two buddies at night at about age 17. Buddy hits tree with back of a hatchet 3 times. (Something) Proceeded to mock those 3 hits with something huge. No way it was a little stick or log a human could let alone pick up much less be able to swing it. Ill never forget that.

My daughter has told me her experience many times. In Rowan county around 1977, I was carrying her from my car. I think she was 4 or 5 years old at the time. She described it as being around dusk, and she saw an Indian on a grey horse. She described him as wearing a full head dress like a Chief would wear. Then it just faided away. She said she tried to get me to look, but I was distracted and couldn't get my attention. Ever since I was a kid, I had heard tales of an Indian burial ground near the fields where she saw the appearance. I believe she saw something for the event to remain with her so vividly for so many years.

If you tell yours, I’ll tell mine. 😉 And the black triangles, and shiny silver UAP’s, and the orange lights (that were not flares either), the dancing lights my mom and step-dad use to watch hover over at a friend’s house, and the UAP’s that look like they’re jellyfish swimming in the sky. Maybe even the story my buddy told me about he and another one of our friends camping and fishing on the Cape Fear, and hearing things yell at them and throw rocks at them. He says he didn’t see them but swears that he thinks they were Bigfoot type creatures due to size of the rocks and trees that got thrown at them. Around october 1988 while stationed at Camp Lejeune the military base newspaper ran a puff piece about halloween. It related a story about the sentries at the T.O.P. gate in a remote corner of base reporting noises, banging on the guardshack roof, and grunts and groans that had the armed guards alarmed yet confounded and unable to confront this agitator they could not see. I assume the story had some merit as it made print. It was reported as factual though unexplainable. Eastern and coastal North Carolina are forever in my heart as it was my first duty station. A beautiful state and wonderful people. Upon returning from Desert Storm the 2nd Marine Division marching band played "Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning" at the victory parade in DC when passing in review by the president. North Carolina! Ive seen the infamous "cigar shaped" ufo/uap whatevz u wanna call it numerous times but the one incident that still haunts me is when i was 19 riding with a car full of friends through leicester nc when all the sudden we felt what i can only call a wave of heat n our radio on the car just started acting all crazy n we looked out our windows n saw this huge helicarrier looking craft with no type of jet stream or propellers hovering passed us into the mtns past where we were going then landing on the peak of said mtn. We had to pull over cuz all 5 of us had gotten seriously nauseaus n 2 of us ended up vomiting. The rest of the 40 min car ride was silent and the tension could be cut with a knife. 3 of us ended up having nightmares for months of being abducted but now ive wondered ever since then if it wasnt actual dreams n we WERE abducted. Im 35 now n still have seen other crafts since then. So has 2 of the other 4 ppl i keep in contact wifh too. But there is no doubt in my mind that what we saw that summer day was indeed an alien craft. I also believe theyre in contact with our govt cuz i know theres military bases in those mtns due to seeing their crafts as well.

I live in North Carolina in Fayetteville right near Fort Bragg now known as Fort liberty.. around 2010 me and a buddy of mine were on the way from his house back into Fayetteville at about 5:30 in the morning. The sun had just started to come up, but it was still pretty dark outside and we’re driving on Highway 24 and I see six large orange orbs in the sky, and at first we thought they were paratroopers jumping with some sort of a flare. my buddy says “yeah man definitely seems like paratroopers” The only problem with that theory is we ended up watching these lights for about 15 or 20 minutes before they finally disappeared behind the tree line.. a normal jump would last a 5-6 minutes roughly.. I tried to take a picture, but I had an iPhone 4 back then and all the way zoomed in It was too dark to pick them up on camera, but we watched these orange orbs float in the sky in amazement and too this day we dont know what they were..
