Hiya again Neil, that video was fantastic and well worth waiting the extra day for. As i said on the Whitby video, me and Karen visited Robin Hood's Bay for the first time this summer. We got the bus from Whitby which took around 30 minutes and only cost £2 each way. Without wanting to over dramatise things, i had a cardiac arrest in September last year due to blood clots forming over both lungs and my Wife broke her ankle in June 2021 and has had 4 subsequent operations on it since then, so the walk up and down the very steep hill was a real challenge for us both as you would imagine. Proud to say we both managed it but slept like logs that night. 😂😂 We were 'forced' 😂😂 to stop off at the Laurel Inn halfway back up for an hour for a breather (and a couple of lovely pints of Old Peculiar 😂😂) but it was well worth it. Robin Hoods bay is such a beautiful place, it wouldve been a shame not to go. It was a pretty warm day when we went in July so we sat outside the Bay hotel at the very bottom overlooking the sea having a couple of pints (Theres a pattern emerging here 😂😂). One of those times which you wish you could bottle up the view and the moment and keep forever. We also had a couple sat outside the Smugglers pub (surprise, surprise). Inside was very dark, small and quirky, but too warm to sit indoors. We stayed 7 hours in RHB altogether that day and loved every minute of it. Thanks again for sharing your great video with us all and now weve discovered your channel we look forward to going through your other videos. Its Karens birthday tomorrow and were off to York for 4 nights Monday to celebrate and enjoy the Christmas Markets and stuff. As a immensely proud Yorkshire lad born and bred ive got to say theres no end of beautiful places to visit up here. Take care and thanks again.

It’s great you are doing great now, it was a bit tuff for me on the way back up 😂😂😅 wish the wife an happy birthday from me and have a wonderful time in York. We will definitely be going back in the summer I have a few more hotel reviews that people want me to do. So have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year. And thank you so much for supporting my channel, I really appreciate you enjoying my video and hearing good things about them, it makes me want to carry on and do more and hopefully turn into a full time job. We have just got back from Birmingham Christmas Market and it was crazy thousands of people everywhere hopefully I’ve got some footage. See you soon 🙏👍

So I love robins hood bay it’s a lovely little place. Little story my dad used to deliver commercial fridges and my dad and a workmate had to collect a fridge from the sweet shop at the bottom of the hill and then had to push the fridge up the hill right to the top as they obviously couldn’t take the lorry down the road. It’s safe to say they were both done in when they got to the top of the hill. Great video mate…

Looks lovely there, not sure my knees would get me back to the car though. Great idea to get a little tractor to get to the top though.
