been to Hangzhou museum once, great collection, beautiful museum and amazingly, it is free to enter. I think China sell the culture too cheap. They should charge money to enter, to provide fund for the museum. I know I wouldn't mind to pay to enter.

@Maxwell Maybe they should just make it free to students. After all, museums need funds, and if people are willing to pay, why not make it source of income for the museums. If gov want more people to visit museum, just make the ticket affordable. In fact, all those historical places in Hangzhou that I visited were free, it won't be cheap to manage them.
