It's not because they're war-torn. It's because "Afghans" are actually descended from Alexander The Great (and are not very "native") so everyone pretends to not know how to parent them, including their biological parents. In their Bactrian empire they used Hebrew as an official written language, and parented Lu Shan. They have that "jerry seinfeld face" or whatever about 30% of the time, with a non-Arabian nose. In the beginning of the 20th century, a lot of "Jews" fled to Afghanistan (mostly the ones who also look like jerry seinfeld). It was like the original Israel.

The Taliban is somewhat tolerant of foreigners enough to let them do their own thing since it needs international recognition. Hence you can see foreign women not wearing niqab and burqa, but make no mistake, if you are a religious minority, woman or not a pashtun, don’t bother coming or leave if you can since the Taliban is really strict and oppressive especially if you are not in their flavor of Islam.
@Medi-ys2um10 күн бұрын
It is a great shame and hypocrisy that foreign women are allowed to go out and take pictures with the Taliban up close, but Afghan women have lost many of their rights and go to school. The suicide rate among Afghan women has increased, people are trying to leave the country because of their oppression. The Taliban is just the black history of this country and I am sure it cannot last much longer, because they are just a minority who came to power with a gun.

On 11th November, 2019, a man was set on fire by rioters (sorry, “peaceful protesters” as always described by Western politicians and media) in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong. They committed this horrific act in the name of “freedom”, “democracy” and “human rights”. Best wishes to that poor man and his family. The riots (sorry, “peaceful protests” as always described by Western politicians and media) were supported by US, UK and Western politicians, commentators and media. One hopes that the National Security Law will prevent Hong Kong from ever having to experience the vicious anarchy of 2019 - 20 ever again. And Nancy Pelosi called the riots (sorry, "peaceful protests" as always described by politicians and Western media) a "beautiful sight".

Let's hope that tourism can be done in such a way as to bring real benefits to local people, the planet as well as visitors, and that governments can have the courage and integrity to be honest and open about what is really happening... Doing this can foster real trusting relationships and long term sustainable development.

To all saying how it is so peaceful without a second military power like the U.S: no duh, areas controlled by a single power are always more peaceful, regardess of its rulers, or its ideology. Even full on dictatorships, or narco-states are "more peaceful" when there's a single, established power. It has little to do with who is or isn't there. P.S. Afghanistan is still dealing with their own insurgent militias.

Funny, when the Taliban have been and still is targeting and killing Hazara-people every single day for looking "Asian" and not "Afghan". If you didn't know, the Hazara people are a Turk-Mongol people with complex nomadic history, and therefore complex genetic history also. We are Shia-muslim, and have for centuries been oppressed, slaved, tortured and killed. This is on-going even today, but luckily my people highly prioritize education, knowledge, science and resistance - this also goes for the women, yes. Today Afghanistan would not stand without our knowledge, or have any international pride (e.g. in sports or academics), but unfortunately we are still treated this way. I'm happy that i live abroad, but my heart cries for the Hazara people, all the ethnic groups who are suffering and ESPECIALLY the women of Afghanistan. They will have no life or future in my dear country.

Its not a democracy its a tribal culture that is fanatically fundementalisic. They do not evolve. The wording of spam used by "Sweet Basil" is the same as that always used by "BeijingGenocideOlympics2022". The poor bot farm peons and Sepoys are assigned their own spam. This results in “Arabicetc” posting spam assigned to “Lastetc"/ "lastetc"/ "verylastetc"/ "nextlastetc"/bestlastetc , and vice versa. "nicholasfoong" uses the spam of "Ahmetetc" and “Mohammed Kumar”/“Hkchinese”/”wynn” . "nicholasfoong" is new, so must be low down in the bot farm hierarchy and has not been given its own spam to play with. Either that or it is an independent bot that is bereft of its own ideas.
