KRUG is one of the most sought-after Champagnes and it dictates very high prices. Even those wine lovers, who are more into grower champagnes will rarely say “no” to a KRUG. In this video I will open and taste a bottle of KRUG Grande Cuvee to see and tell you what's so special about this Champagne.

Very nicely done video! Krug Grande Cuvee is one of my "Go To" champagnes that I try to always have on hand. A lot of wine experts think it's the best value in the entire champagne world.

I used to represent Krug in SoCal and had a chance to visit the winery. Simply amazing Champagne from Grand Cuvee, Vintage and Clos Mesnil.

Krug sounds fantastic to try but the price really turns me off. I like Champagne because of it uniqueness and complexity due the winemaking. I think sparkling wine is the hardest wine to make. So I’ve spent $300 + on a older Napa red wine from Matthiasson and ≈$80 on a Blanc di Noir Champagne but I wouldn’t be spending that much all the time.

I agree, Krug is definitely not Your everyday Champagne. However, for Champagne - entry level price starts way higher than for regular still wine, and I would say that in general Champagne is premium priced wine. 🍾
