Your self-awareness in this video is “goals”. A great, reflective video! To find your own happiness is admirable. I respect & appreciate the depth of your minimalist videos: You’ve helped us to embrace a philosophy beyond merely decluttering to living more consciously. Through your videos, we brought in less ‘things’, retained our quality clothes, pots, pans that will last for decades, eliminated redundant items like cheap scissors, hair combs, stupid unsentimental things. We embraced how you’ve de-cluttered fashion and worked through living w/ others who had lots of stuff. Your rationale for those aspects was kind and gentle. Thank you, thank you. We’d subscribed and wanted you to know that whatever path you take in the YT arena is going to be ok. We understand some of the ‘algorithm’ stuff behind the viewer numbers. That said, you’re a cool inspiration for a thoughtful life approach. Again, thank you for the beauty of your channel.

Someone once said to me "don't be so hard on yourself" and I thought that was silly advice. My mindset was "of course I am hard on myself, that's a good thing to be hard on oneself!" Until I had a deeper understanding of what that advice meant and it was a true "aha" moment. Whenever I catch myself being hard on myself now, I am aware of it and I stop it. It still happens but I have more control over it and it is life-changing. Your channel and your content is awesome but do not feel any pressure and do not be hard on your self. One of the most refreshing things I find, as a minimalist, is finding how people go about their daily lives (as minimalists) doing things not related to minimalism. I love to talk about how to conquer obstacles in minimalism or why it's been great for me but that's only a small part of who we are and what we do. I'd love to see more videos ranging in wider topics. Good luck, from the U.S.

This is great work! I have loved seeing a guy's perspective on minimalism, so your original intent has been great. As someone your MOM'S age, my insight is that everything we do provides a lesson if we look for it. What I see in this video is you. Growing! Finding that you have more to say, realizing that subscriber numbers don't equate success. Finding that you have more to say, allowing you to stretch and expand your curiosity into new areas to share. Helping others see that success is an inner journey, not an external one. You are in an explorational stage in life (between 20-30) where the questions and frustrations you posed are exactly where you're supposed to be. I honor your journey, enjoy your work, and think you're a really fantastic person. Thank you for risking discomfort to be real with us. THAT success is its own reward, and makes all of us a little braver. When we see the example, we can choose to grow and be uncomfortable, too. All love!

I'm so happy that you shared this! In my own minimalism journey I've learned that I want to ground myself in minimalist, and for me sustainable minimalist, principles. And most of my favorite of your videos are where you share various things that inspire you, so I'm all for the change and growth!

You know the problem, what is the solution? Minimalism is a finite topic so you have no new conyent. So you can branch out to new areas of interest and self growth. Second you get too much feedback on how you are received. Am I OK? Do you like me? You can like a teacher but if the classes are the same it stops being a learning process. You still like the teacher but now they are boring. I like you and I know you have multiple facets to your being. You have climbed the mountain. Now what? Your loss of direction is normal. Self assess and find other channels for your passions, you are not alone. We are with you

I watched this video yesterday morning, and it really got to me. I was thinking about it all day yesterday. I don't think you meant it like this, but I think this is the greatest video about why it is important to focus on the process and not the results. Focusing on the process keeps you living in the present and your mind on the current task. Focusing on the results, prize, reward, has you thinking about the future and not what is happening now. You got, and we all do this, I've certainly done a lot of this, especially this past year, you got stuck thinking about a reward, video views, increasing your subscribers, which had you focused on the future, instead of having your mind focused on making videos. You forgot to think about why you love making videos, and just the mechanical process of making them, you got pulled out of the present. We can control our behaviours and the process but we can't control the prize, you can't control youtube's algorithms, you can't control whether somebody clicks on your video. I'm in university and I can't control what grade my professors give me, that's up to them, I have to stay focused on doing the readings, doing my homework, things I can control. Focusing on the future and things we can't control can make us unhappy. This past 12 months has been particularly difficult for everyone on the planet. We ALL want this mess to be over, we're tired of living in lockdowns and wearing masks, we want to think about the future and when life is returned to normal. Hopefully we can all get reconnected with our friends and families soon. I want to party like it's 2019! ;-) Good luck, Singapore (I think) looks like a beautiful place. I especially like your shots of the rain, and the dripping water, wet leaves, they are very meditative. Go take some time for yourself to find what makes you happy. :-)

Your accent is amazing, it is something unique that makes your videos even more enjoyable to watch! The 'Thoughtworthy' channel says to 'Fail Fast, Fail Often' and other youtubers say it is a mistake not to experiment! Do what you want, don't just stick to minimalism, we don't want you to burn out. The algorithm will still send people interested in minimalism to your videos - just give them something else to binge watch! I've always enjoyed your minimalist videos, and I completely understand how you feel. It is okay if things are not the same, and it is okay to take time to sort through it all while leaning into the light and pursuing boundless peace.

We love your videos! But sometimes as artists or people working in the creative field, we strive more for other things than just enjoying the present moment, and so, the process. It’s okay to take a step back when it’s needed, to take the time to reflect on the situation, but most importantly about ourselves. If you can take the time to be more patient with yourself, you will focus your energy on more positive things. It’s also very important to take breaks and our worth doesn’t depend on anything else but ourselves. Take your time to process things as you talk about emotions too ! ☺️ I always look forward to your creativity in your videos & thank you for just sharing with us ! Cheers & take care !✌🏼

Good that you noticed that there's an issue, and you were able to have a grasp on it with self-reflection! It is not easy, at least for me it isn't. Wishing the best with finding your mojo again soon!
