I looked it up. Rainbows happen when the air is filled with raindrops. You always see a rainbow in the direction opposite the sun. Fogbows are much the same, always opposite the sun, but fogbows are caused by the small droplets inside a fog or cloud rather than larger raindrops. I have never seen one before. Really pretty especially with the horses in the forefront. Good to see Yvonne's herd coming when she whistles.

That fogbow was so cool! I love how pretty all the horses look against the foggy sky, especially when you catch one that looks like the sun is sitting on their back! Very surreal and pretty! Oh wow what a beautiful scene we are treated to the most gorgeous horses appearing out of the mist it’s so breathtaking(of course they recognize your whistle Yvonne horses are incredibly intelligent beings and they remember who’s treated them with love and affection)I absolutely love the look in Risy’s eye when he sees you so soft and gentle he’s just the most handsome sweetest boy. @@angelkotilainen Hi, The first I heard of anything was a short post in Stories sometime in mid-November in which Yvonne said that Senna might not be around much longer. Then a day or two later (12 Nov.), she had another Stories post saying that Senna had died. I don't know the cause, though. Sorry. Yvonne didn't make a video about it. But in addition to the two Stories posts, she also posted an announcement under the Community tab on the main Friesian Horses KZbin homepage. If you aren't familiar with Community, it's on the line of tabs under the Friesian Horses logo and name on the Friesian Horses homepage here on KZbin. Just click on Community and you'll go to the posts. The most recent is posted at the top, so you'll need to scroll down at least three weeks ago. There's a large black-and-white photo of Senna in it. I can get to the Community tab on my PC as well as my iPhone in this way.

There are so many beautiful images in this video, starting with that gorgeous fogbow! Also there's the shot I think Yvonne was trying to get - the four or five grazing horses framed by the fogbow. And the horses in silhouette against the sunlit fogbank (where even Sjors looked like a black horse! 😁) It was also really nice to see Yvonne out in the pasture checking on the horses and soaking up the beauty of the morning.

I was a bit teary-eyed seeing Seena again,I will miss her. As soon as you said Risey's name he immediately walked to you,you are most definitely his Mem. I have never seen a white rainbow but what it made it really beautiful was that it was over the horses in the meadow. Hearing you calling Uniek and seeing her brought a warm smile to my face. What made me really love this video was not only seeing all the horses, the foals but hearing you calling their names and walking through the meadow. I am reminded this Christmas that God performs Miracles, you are His Miracle, Risey and Uniek's story was a Miracle. I believe more Miracles are on the way,the Best is Yet to Come!!! I love Johnny's braids. They really look good. Aww. Senna. I miss seeing her too running around. I see it like this. When you see her in videos like this, it's her way of saying "Hello" and that she is looking after you. Yes, I get an ache in my heart as well because she was, and still is, such a sweetie pie. That unique formation is called a fog bow. Wow is Risey getting tall. For a moment I thought it was Sjors (until he stepped forward). Seeing loyal Senna was so sweet. And those horses will always know you, Yvonne.

Risey is getting bigger and more handsome all the time! Even though he's Uniek's adopted child, he is a lot like her with his sweet personality and they both have big beautiful eyes and nice physiques. Idk how you describe that in equine terms. Thank you for a video showing a beautiful autumn morning in Friesland, though I'm glad you started it in the stable so we saw all of the boys. RS, RJ & Pieter are so big now. The fogbow was amazing. You got some great shots of it, close up & at a distance. Someone else commented about one and I rewatched the video to see it, your shadow with that of a horse on both sides of you, very cool. Sounds like cuddlebug Lianne prefers her people with their feet on the ground. Interesting to see how she didn't want Sjors to get your attention. Hope the lure of her bix helped you get Uniek out of the meadow. Also, I'm glad you're feeling better and able to edit.

Beautiful just beautiful. The whole video was just stunning like a movie scene. Then the star sweetie Queen Uniek in the meadow was just breathtaking. Risey has gotten so big and handsome and I know he sees his mama is back. It looks like he has his confidence back again before he was kinda lurking back behind Peter and now he pulling to the front again. I believe it’s knowing that Queen is near by and she gives him strength. All the horses look great 😊and are so peaceful to watch them in the meadow just gracing under that beautiful morning dew.

That's untrue I think, RS never lurked behind Pieter. Pieter recently simply comes in front of the camera to look for attention when the attention is given to Risey, perhaps it's envy to some degree. Their pecking order still has not changed, in the most recent video of Risey where he was gifted a halter from Emily, RS pushed both RJ and Pieter back in a corner to make sure they don't come close to him and Yvonne. The only noticeable difference in their behavior that I've noticed is that Pieter seems to be more confident than he used to be around humans (Back then, he was just like Reina, having a shy personality and was afriad of being touched) and RJ seems to be way calmer these days (it's hard to believe he was once the most naughty boy at Stal G), however RS is still just as bossy since he always pins his ears as a way to show his temper and threatens to kick whichever horse is near his rear by pushing his hinds towards, of course RS is very mellow towards Yvonne; he's basically bossy only towards the horse but respects Yvonne as he has a close relationship with her, and probably imprinted on her too.

@Dam Ree I’m not proclaiming to be a animal psychologist or behaviorists I’m just stating with my limited observation of what I perceive is happening between the small herd. It’s not that serious It’s just one person’s opinion and perception of what’s going on. Well to be honest if the truth be told none of us whose looking in from the outside can truly give and accurate observation of the relationship between those horses. We’re prevue to see them maybe ten minutes a video, so what do we really know.

I don't think that Risey lost his confidence in the slightest, Pieter has been hoarding the camera begging for attention recently which good for him, he is becoming more used to humans around him as compared to before where he was very timid but that does not mean Risey lost his confidence as he still ordered both RJ and Pieter around in recent videos. And RS is always pulling the front since he was weaned; albeit despite being in the front back when he was weaned as well, he was not exactly the leader until he started to play roughhouse because the other two used to ignore him since he was weaned a little bit later. He finally established himself both as the leader of the colt pack in the stall as well as in the pasture. And I also do not think that Uniek and RS has the same bond as they did before, the foals know their mares of course but are not dependant on each other to a point where it affects their behaviour anymore. If RS was really missing Uniek, you'd have known as he would be restless by moving all over the place and whinnying which he used to do when he was still with Uniek if he ever go separated to her which is why he was tied so as not to be too hyper or try anything that could be unevenful, now he is way too independant to miss his mem or even if by chance he did miss his mem, it would not affect his behaviour that much. That's just my opinion though and what I've observed in that past contents. However, that's how it generally works, that's why foals are weaned, it's a struggle but the struggle is what makes the foals independant at the end of the day as it toughens them up and ignites their stallion hormones/instincts.

Since we’re adding our personal observations (I know nothing about horses but study human behavior!) I think early on, Pieter was more reserved coming into a new stal and new companions. I always thought Rinse Janko was the more outgoing of the 3 with Risey learning how to hold his own with 2 older colts. Today, Pieter wanted attention!! He seems to have missed Yvonne too and was happy to see her. Of course Risey knows his mem. And RJ hung back for some reason. I’d love to see them outside playing again to see how their personalities have developed. Would they be considered pre-teens at their age? Interesting how they progress as they mature. And I enjoyed everyone’s observations. We all love Yvonne, Stal G, all the horses and all the terrific people there caring for these marvelous creatures! Wasn’t that white rainbow stunning?! I thought the herd walking on the horizon in front of the sun burning through the fog was one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen. I’m saving this video to my favorites.

I’m glad you did not walk across that bar! Or try to. The fog, wet grass, horses were awesome enough but the white bow puts it over the top. Wow! We've had two days of fog..i love it tho bad to drive in. Unfortunately it was time to say goodbye to Senna she was almost 14 years old and it was from complications of being an old dog. Look at the luscious, juicy grass! I like the beads of water on Jildou's eyelashes. Oooh, nice - a fogbow. I've only seen one once. From photos, I knew what it was, but it was very exciting to actually see one. Everything is so special and mysterious in the mist.

Fogbows much the same, opposite the Sun, but fogbows are caused from small droplets in the fog, instead of large droplets that make a colorful rainbow. I missed it. What happened to Senna? Today's video was very interesting. Wonderful to see all the horses, even better to see Yvette and how great she looks, as she makes a most remarkable recovery. And the Queen... a magnificent equine. Even Risey... he's a BB (Big Boy) now. Gorgeous. I loved the views of the heavy mist. Very spooky, until those great horses slowly materialize in the mist. Seeing a fog rainbow was a first for me... so thank you for that, as well as the all round Frisean update. Stay safe...
