What's The BEST ANIME This Summer Season?! (Summer 2024 Anime In A Nutshell REACTION)

So, I'm actually gonna defend 2.5D Seduction over here. I will though start by saying that the series has a slow start that will feel torturous for someone who can't vibe with the standard ecchi harem stuff. With all that said, as someone who's read the source material, the character writing is actual really good. The MC has some serious emotional damage and the other characters also have personal drama they need to work through. It actually has been my stand in for dress-up darling which has been wading a bit TOO far into the drama end until the most recent chapter. 2.5D just knows how to balance the character drama and the comedy.

the source is genuinely really good, much better written than my dress up darling.. but the adaptation is meh at best unfortunately

Favorite show this season overall is Monogatari for obvious reasons. Favorite new show is Too Many Losing Heroines. Also wanna note that an underrated show I'm checking out is Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction; barely anyone's watching it, but so far its been great and I think 3rd in my favorites this season.

Monogatari in my top 10 fav anime, but the new series and Oshi no Ko are easily the best anime this season I think I might actually prefer OnK of the two though. At least this season
