What’s the best cow tag? | Why we use ZTags for cattle on our ranch

Quick review of the cow tags we use on the ranch and why we prefer the ZTag. These are a great one piece tag that we strongly prefer to the two piece tag option offered by some other vendors. Our cattle tags have been successful with cows, calves, and with bulls to stay in the ear and identify our animals.

Will a normal tag removal tool work with the ztags? If I understood correctly you said you no longer use fly tags. Can I ask what you use to help with the face flys on calves? Thanks.

Yeah, you can cut them out with a knife or the tool from my other video. We use fly spray about every week or so to help with flies, it’s always a losing battle. The tags are ok for a couple weeks but I think they land you in the same place.
