Honestly, I think JToH XL wins. There isn’t much to this game as of now, but they finish rings, zones, and sub-realms pretty quickly, this game started in April 2023 btw. The lengthy gameplay is not really ideal for many people, but I actually enjoy the long gameplay in this game.

One issue tho with JToH XL is they fail to make the extra floors fit in with the original floors, basically the added floors look more modern and kinda just looks dumb. A very good example is CoD which the extra floors are super out of place

My point is that a lot of the extension floors are too copy andd paste, they overused gameplay like with CoH where the stupid fucking slanted truss was reused like 50 times. Also CoFT overuses the same fucking gameplay OVER and OVER again. I know these extension floors are supposed to fit the towers quality to fit in but they try too hard, making the floors very unmemorable and repetitive. I like what CoLL did, they didn't reuse the same fucking gameplay idea over and over again. The extension floors were actually creative and very memorable, yet they still fit the tower pretty well.

The first few ring and zones are relatively easy to recreate because at the time the design was still pretty simple. But what then? Isnt it gonna be way more difficult to make extensions to towers that already have a defined theme/style that isnt just regular parts and classic gameplay? I just dont see the game having too much of a future past that

im making a jtoh fangame. there is basically no ring select, instead you just go into a portal that leads to the world you go to and the first lobby is litterally just nothing special. its like a mini version of a lot of stuff like rocks, snow, caves, desert, etc. no therapy room, practice obby, but thats only in world 1 (and probably area 1 whenever that releases.) there will be only three towers when it releases. also its called Yet Another JToH fangame (YAJF) (reply if you want more info. which i doubt anyone wants)

Depends what were considering to make the best game for me Fun? Baseplate project Quality? JToH XL Comparing to the level of JToH? AToS Being a worse version of JToH with nothing really to add? TNP Good Challenges? CSCD Really depends, but if I had to choose one it would either be JToHXL or AToS but CSCD's probably the most underrated (atleast from what I've seen)

i think a big problem with atos is that its just a different jtoh. theres nothing that makes it stand out apart from everything that makes all the others stand out (lobbies, towers, etc), and that really makes it less memorable and *worse* in my opinion

atos is nice but there’s just somethint missing, idk what it is but i can say that z1-3 towers (mostly non sc) feel extremely tedious, unsighteadable, long and confusing. the scs, another thing most of them are absolutely HORRIBLE. cscd is goos but doesn’t have that much to offer, many of the towers feel like 90% filler w super repetitive gp that gets boring quickly. jtoh xl is actually amazing (it WILL be once zone 4+ and ring 8+ come out. idk if they ever will but that’d be awesome) naturally it is super tedious tho as most of the towers are quite significantly harder. overall.. idk
