For bugs, on level 10, as long as it’s not a charger or larger you can literally hold lines with the Arc Blitzer. It’s become my go-to for them as it can hit multiple targets and the stun effect stacks. I’ve told 3 Stalkers to simultaneously sod off, zapping them to their graves

I highly recommend trying 500 KG, Orbital Railcannon, Guard Dog Rover, Arc Thrower w/ Engineering Kit Armor, Blitzer, Grenade Pistol, Thermite Grenades. I was getting 600+ kills and killing everything consistently. You stunlock chargers with arc thrower. And you can kill Impalers/Bile Titans with 500KG/ORC.

The arc thrower and the blitzer are darn near the same gun; charge to shoot, shotgun-like, non-heat-generating, ammo-less with a stun capacity. Sell me on carrying both instead of picking up some other capability. What does carrying both of them allow you to do?

Railcannon? Yeah you're a noob. I highly doubt you are playing above level 8 with your set up with 600+ kills. That's not even possible unless you aren't doing any missions at all.

My loadout is I take the Orbital Napalm instead for the Railcannon (Amazing vs Bug breaches and Mega Nests does 70-100 kills alone) and the Quasar for Arc Thrower so I can snipe Titans/Charger. Light Medic or Nade armor. Bugs only I don't play bots, they are just annoying but I will test them maybe the patch made them fun.

Plasma Punisher for BOTS, Breaker Spray and Pray for the BUGs (with RR and/or Nade Launcher + Supply Back pack as support) - effective and my always go to depending on my squad's loadout

When I join randos on level 10 for both factions, Recoilless + 3 Sentries always elevates the team to a win. Can confirm Recoilless was the absolute winner of the recent updates.

I don't solo, but when I do, I swap out the 500kg with a disposable anti-tank. My normal load out is: 500kg, Airburst, EMS Mortar, and Grenade Launcher. I carry the breaker Incendairy shotgun, Light armor (more throwables, and faster endurance recovery) and the Senator. i can support any team with this. I cannot easily take out heavies, but If I need to, I load the disposable anti-tank. I like the Hvy MG, but it only holds 2 mags, and that is far too low for the number of bugs you run into. It destroys chargers, but I can bounce granades under their butts to get them just as easy. bio-Titans are the only issue I have, hence the anti-tank.

I recommend everyone to use the air burst orbital. Absolutely amazing for area denial. I also used the recoil launcher for the ones the ones survive.

for bots and bugs I run: 500 kg, orbital gatling barrage, personal shield generator, quasar. crossbow, Dagger, (thermite for bots, impact incendiaries for bugs) And finally medium medic armor. I call it the survivalist I can deal with almost everything and if I can't I could just run and survive until my teammates come help

My problem with the plasma punisher - and I've used it a good deal - has always been dropping back in after getting killed. If I'm also carrying the grenade pistol to blow up factories (and I usually have been), then the only things I have when I pop out of the pod are explosive. CQB with an all-explosive load of ordnance can get a leeetle bit tricky.

Try using the heavy armor with explosion damage resistance and you can eat the damage pretty easy just in case you hurt yourself with the plasma

I always have to run orbital laser. Chunk the marker into a heavy base and it'll be cleared in 20 seconds.

Blitzer for the bugs is so useful for the stagger on them. Dominator and punisher plasma for bots. quasar is great for everything as it can snipe spewers and shrieker nests from miles away. It also one taps every elite mob bar the impaler. Then i always use my eagle airstrike and 500kg.

Mg43 i think i would ok if they double the magazine size. They could even reduce it to only 1 extra mag as long as it has more fire time. Then it would be much better vs all the medium chaff and still be usable against some heavies. It was amazing with the faster fire rate up close and still kinda meh at longer ranges. the other option is just simply buff up the damage and allow for that nice slow rate of fire that nobody really uses. I kinda like being able to single tap the trigger and control fire but the damage is not realy as viable as short high rate busts.

Orbital railcannon strike, orbital laser, guard dog rover, Quasar. If all for players use this strat loadout they can't lose. Breaker Incendiary, grenade gun, Incendiary grenades. Both for bots and bugs. Any level.

Orbital rail cannon isn’t that great when more reliable alternatives with better cooldowns exist. You can oneshot everything on bugs with the quasar if you are good at hitting weak spots. A much better load out would be to bring thermites instead of incendiary for anti tank, and, if you still want fire aoe, bring eagle napalm. Functionally, it will be similar but imo way more effective

Orbital railcannon's long cooldown is not really that reliable with the amount of heavies in the higher diff.anti-tank weapons is more reliable to deal against bunch of heavies

My go to is incendiary breaker, ammo pack, railgun, 500kg and eagle airstrike, I always use experimental infusion and have a medic armor with faster movement and stamina regen with 6 stims which keeps me very mobile. I also have the grenade pistol for bug holes and pretty much only play bug missions. I never had much interest in bot missions. Was the same in HD1 lol.

This game sux anymore. It says a lot when you need to say “let’s keep the comments constructive”. How about instead of screwing with the weapons all the time, just make them all good? How about not locking your character up whenever you dive on any surface that’s even somewhat uneven? I’m tired of dying because I dive and my character is bouncing all over the place, and I’m tired of not being able to see because the sun is all over the place.
