I'm actually most excited about it. I'm looking forward to things feeling a bit more meaningful and calculated. That's my main gripe with most modern ARPGS, it's just a screen vomit!

Yeah, sorry, that wasn't my intention, more of an assumption that people know that's how PoE works. I should have been more explicit about that and will be in the future! Thank you for commenting and pointing it out :)

I really hope that one of the classes is a Falconeer. I always like Falconeers IRL, I played pre-rework Quinn in LoL, and I enjoyed Falconeer in Last Epoche.

All the movement stuff that will make the Merc fun to play should, in theory, make the Ranger feel way more fun too. But yes, I will definitely be playing a Merc well before a Ranger. lol

People need to remember the items and SKILLS ARE NOT CLASS LOCKED!! You can use any skill on any class in the game. The only point for the class is the ascendancie. Its just really strong nodes. But you might actually want to go socr with a bow. To spread and deal stronger element damage.

@@mcdowe245 yeah that's the beauty of PoE! I was going to do a section on the passive tree and how they have changed the way attribute nodes can now be switched around to give more freedom now that life nodes have been removed from the passive tree! I didn't want the video to run too long. Would you have preferred it if I did? I can consider it for my next one if so!

The poison cloud/vine arrows look pretty good, otherwise I might lean towards the merc with the auto fire and grenades. Hard to say 🙂

Just the ascendancie. You can use any skill and any item on every class. The ascendancies are just extremely strong nodes you won't find on the passive tree. Or if you do it's just like 3x the strength over the passive tree.

The minion passive nodes on the tree also increased spell damage, so you’re gonna be able to have minions and deal some damage yourself. I know the skill tree is subject to change, so who knows how the gameplay and combos are gonna work with a summoner compared to other builds

@@Quantum_CubanThis guy probably hasn’t ever even played PoE in his entire life. Yeah PoE 2 is different but it’s similar in a lot of ways. I’ve been playing PoE since its initial beta and I’ve never “mained” anything. It’s not even a term we use in PoE. Just another creator grifting.

Every class looks fun and interesting. Im a casual to the genre...a little diablo 3 (didn't like the art style), diablo 4, grim dawn, last epoch, and some random smaller games over the years. Poe1 i quit early but poe2 looks to be doing eveything that i wanted from this genre. Gameplay wise, variety wise, art style, customisation, and characte designs.

YES! So far i only know one other game where you can directly order your minions and thats Grim Dawn. And to some extend Diablo 3s Necromancer. But the best thing is, that you don't have to constantly babysit and resummon most of your minions.

I think the summoner will likely be quite mediocre early until someone finds whatever the most broken spectre is. In the footage they’ve shown is it looks really cool but quite low powered compared to the monk and ranger gameplay.

hard to say, as you can see in the footage the minions are never linked, maybe because the supports werent ready yet, or because they wanted to show off the base minions, for example the monk and ranger gameplay you are referring to did have linked spells

No reason to think that. Playing a class at high level and endgame are never comparable to these kind of gameplay showcases. Witch will be fine.
