Probably the best video for this topic on the internet.. All the others either show the papers, but dont explain the differences in detail, or just talk about how good strathmores bristol paper are but dont compare it to other brands.. Honestly, never thought it could be so difficult to find a good paper. After spending hours for research it looks like the only loved papers are: strathmore, fabriano artistico, brustro bristol.. And all of them not available in my country, so the shipping would cost more than the paper itself..

THANKS for a GREAT video about paper types and with great examples! I was very undecided and avert to just blindly try different types of paper. Your video has helped me a lot in deciding! Strathmore Vellum is the obvious choice for me with the needs and preferences I have. Thanks again!

Try , Fabriano Artistico , 140lb hot press extra white, it is amazing as is but if you stretch it the drawing surface becomes even better imo ,a 22”x30” sheet is 6.75-7$ , some places will cut it for you , I order 15 sheets at a time, cut into sixty, 11”x15” , for about 105$ shipped.
