I've worked with databases for 20+ years. I thought this was a pretty good summary. PostgreSQL is way more advanced in my opinion, which I love. The danger is that other users with less exposure to databases might be out of their depth.

Can anyone explain, please. It's a dumb question I know but I am a beginner so please bear with me. SQL is the query language that we use to delete,update and add data in relational databases. But what do PostgreSQL and MySQL have to do with it?

SQL is a language, but nothing more. Postgres and mySQL are implementations of that language and they are vastly different in how they function and features they have (also syntax for more advanced stuff)
