I find I have a lot of success with the dollar tree vinyl on washitape setting. Plus I use the dollar tree clear shelf liner for transfer tape or you can even use masking tape for transfer. Tape saves a lot of money as far as vinyl is concerned . perfect for a lot of projects.

I love how you compared the vinyls. When you first taught how to do this, I made a cling with our address because it's hard to see ours for deliveries. I love that there are so many choices of vinyls. I ended up using cricut vinyl at the time. Ty for the options ❤

Thanks for this critique. I saw dollar tree carried vinyl and wondered if it was a good vinyl. Since I am just learning I think I will stay with the better vinyls. 😊

Thanks for the files. Oracal does have matte permanent vinyl (651) it always was my go to until the online place I got it from stopped carrying it. Dollar tree vinyl is not good. You get what you pay for! Merry Christmas!

Where can I find the style of window cling please?
@MatthewFordVictoria10 күн бұрын
Hi Jennifer! I need your advice! I tried to make a Sticker to put on a Window, and covered it with the transfer plastic that has lines on it to make sure it goes on straight. I peeled off the film covering up the sticky backing, and applied it to the window, but when I tried to remove the tranfer plastic from the front, it wouldn't let go of the letters and peeled them off the window. I tried using a tool to make the plastic let go of the decal, but it wouldn't let go! I had to start over and make a new decal and used some cheap removeable plastic that's meant for covering up wooden shelves in cupboards. That was also hard to make it let go of the letters, but slowly, one letter at a time, it worked. Am I doing something wrong? Why would the plastic for making Transfers be so sticky, that it's impossib;e to make it let go on the design. It's practically like putting Clear Packing Tape over the sticker, and then trying to make the Tape let go of the sticker! I haven't used my machine for a while because of this inconvenience! Like why bother making decals if the Transfer Plastic won't let go of them?
@JenniferMaker9 күн бұрын
You might have used the wrong type of transfer tape like Cricut strong grip. That is only for hard to stick vinyl like glitter vinyl. Window cling vinyl does not need transfer tape. You weed off of the carrier sheet and then peel the window cling off by hand and stick it to a window.
@MatthewFordVictoria9 күн бұрын
@@JenniferMaker - The package doesn't say Strong Transfer Tape. Just Transfer Tape (sorry for calling it Transfer Plastic). I made the design with Smart Vinyl Removable Vinyl, then I peeled away the stuff around the outside and inside of the letters. To keep the letters in place, I put plain Transfer Tape on the front, then removed the back to expose the sticky side of the decal. I put the decal on the glass, but when I tried to remove the Transfer Plastic, it peeled the decal off. I tried using a sewing Needle to get between the Decal and the Transfer Tape let go, but it refused to separate. Perhaps because the decal was made of Removable Vinyl? I tried pressing the decal really hard against the window to make it stay in place, but that pressed the Transfer Tape onto the Decal and suddenly it was impossible to make it let go! Am I missing a step? Am I supposed to blow it with a hair dryer to make the transfer tape let go?

Hi, I have 2 questions about Sublimation Ink, is possible that black ink change into a brown color in the black reservoir (sad I need to try empty the printer reservoir as much as I can, other question I search ink for an ET-4850 (502) like the brand hippo and can't find it for that model, all I see it near that model is ET-4800 (522) could it be compatible anyway or ..., or what other brand is good and compatible with autofill bottle ? Thank You ^^
@JenniferMaker11 күн бұрын
Yes, black sublimation ink can sometimes turn brown in the reservoir, especially if it sits for a long time; try emptying the reservoir as much as possible to prevent this. jennifermaker.com/how-to-unclog-sublimation-printer/ jennifermaker.com/epson-ecotank-setup-video/
