Great video. Few important points... Countries like Denmark for an example only allow dividends once per year - unless approved by the board of the company. It will be seen as a illegal distributions if you do so. Dividends there is normally only paid out once the annual company report has been reported. Director loans - can also be complex if you have more than one shareholder - as you need to have a very clear understanding and agreement on this. And correct - i.e. Denmark it's seem as a crime to do so. UK on the other hand - you can pretty much do what you want as long as it makes sense.

I am a Bulgarian citizen and resident and have a 1 man company, doing software engineering for clients. Annual profits are about 240k USD. At the moment, i pay myself dividends + corporate. It ends up being around 14.5%. Do you have people in Bulgaria and Cyprus to set me up with a 0% corporate tax offshore company and then i would need to pay only 5% dividends?

So, ignoring the first £50270, and looking at say a 400k renumeration package, am I right in thinking the tax on the remainder, if taken as a dividend, in basically 64.35%? i.e. 25+39.35? I understand the 33% rate and 8% rates will change that somewhat, but the bottom line is 60+% of the money will be given to HMRC?

well yeah, tax optimization in general isnt necessary unless you're earning 6 figures & this is a tax optimization channel. although if you're just starting as an entrepreneur, knowing this stuff in advance can save you a headache down the road
