I got one. My dad dated this girl in his early twenties. She was crazy it wasn't the best relationship. Halfway through his relationship she told her brother he beats her and her bother shows up at their doorstep. My dad gets into this big argument with them which ended up with her moving out not too long after that. 9 years later she shows up at our house and shows him his daughter. Not too long ago he was dating her sister. So my half sister's cousin was also my step sister for awhile.

This a "small world" story, not a plot twist, but in the mid 70s my Mom lived in Connecticut, made friends with the family down the street, particularly their girl named Ricki. Well Ricki's family moved away, my Mom never knew where. Later my Mom met a guy, moved to Maryland, had us kids, and 6 years later we moved to Utah (Mom following Grandma who converted to Mormonism). We moved a few times, and when I got into Jr. High I made a friend named Seth. Eventually introduced our parents, and guess what? His mom is Ricki. We met and became friends independently, and then found out our Mothers were friends as kids.

The "destination wedding" was fake. (It is normally where you get married in another country as a combo vacation. The 2 I've been to we all went down for a week, wedding is one of the last days, then the newly weds stay for a 2nd week as their honeymoon) But instead the engagement party was itself the wedding.
