I'm not a fan of the new spherical design, even if the sound is better. I use mine (previous generation) mainly for controlling smart lights and for setting timers and reminders, and they're much less obtrusive. I especially like the Dots with clocks and wish I could still get the older model.

I have the echo dot 4th gen with clock in blue for the living room so my mum can see timers on the display for when she’s cooking dinner, I would of gone for the white version but the display is also white so went for blue, also have Echo 1st gen in white, echo dot 3rd gen, echo 3rd gen and echo show 8 in charcoal, much better then google assistant as you can send and receive messages which is awesome

I bought the Echo Show 5 and 8 both for £100 2 weeks ago, got them on a monthly plan for £20 for both. The Echo Show 5 is great size and would be great in the bedroom catch up on shows without the larger screen of the 8 on your side table. Also got Fire TV Lite and Google Chromecast with TV

I got me to echo Studios, and this is my problem. I cannot do stereo Bluetooth pairing which is absolutely 100% inexcusable. Where the HomePod and the Google home Maxis and other speakers from Google can do it perfectly. I am blind so to me sound is everything
