Solarguard should let you have options on lite and hybrid with your choice of closet type.

I love your thorough reviews! There’s a flight attendant that I follow who uses a closet thing like this, and she loves it. But she basically keeps it packed and ready to go so it does look like it would be useful for her purpose of constant 2/3 day trips.

Thanks for your consistency and thoroughness! For me, the point of a ‘closet’ is more about organization than packing-efficiency. I have bad ADHD, so both packing and suitcase living are tough. I have never once unpacked on a trip, and my bag is a mess immediately. I lose stuff every time. I’m hoping this kind of device will stave off disorder and make the loss of items less likely and frequent. I also overpack, so I’m worried about the international size, although the thought of buying a whole new suitcase if I travel abroad is ridiculous. I’d def go with the Lite. If we think of the closet as an organizational tool, would you recommend this model re: other metrics (durability, quality, etc)?

Question.... any opinion on the Royce and Rocket suitcase with the shelves? I haven't found many reviews/videos that don't seem to be straight from the company....

I did reach out to them for a review, and they declined, but I personally would never use it. It’s another gimmick like these shelves and it just seems unnecessary

Hey Lauren! Been binging your channel the last few weeks since my fam and I booked our flights for our trip to see Taylor Swift in October! What do you think of American Tourister? I'm a broke 20 year old (whose dad paid for the trip 😅) who needs to keep as low of a budget as possible and some of their bags look pretty good for quite cheap. BTW, I will be attempting carry-on only thanks to you :)

The "closet" in the light is designed way better. The "closet" in the original bag is just too unwieldy. But in general, I just think the "closets" are a waste of space in general. Thanks for the comparison. ❤

How sturdy is the lite suitcase when you have the closet system attached to the handle and it’s standing upright? It looks like it would be top heavy and tip over compared to the original closet system which hangs a lot lower would be more sturdy? Please let me know.

It’s the same size as the other bag, so if you watch my original review (linked in the description) you can skip to the part where I pack it and see what it holds! The only difference is the spots for shoes, so it’s actually better.

I believe you need to still pull down in the closet system for the original Solgaard I used mines for a 9 day trip to Alaska and I was able to pack everything in the med Solgaard original I was also able to bring back souvenirs too

You can, but they aren’t available separately, so you would need to buy both, unless they change that

The small awkward sized one? I don’t think I would ever use it. It won’t work on all airlines and it’s not an underseater. I kind of promised myself to stop reviewing Beis after my last issue with them

The only use I can see for the closet thingy is if you are staying in a very small space that just doesn't have drawer or closet space. Maybe like a RV or a tent or sharing a room. Neither are for me because I unpack, even when we were staying on live aboard dive boats, which are smaller rooms then even cruise ships, I always unpacked. I'm not a packing cube person but if I were somewhere (again like a dive boat) without a lot of room, I'd just use them.

@@ItsTheKellys Thx for getting back to me. I was interested in the Flex Vega by Rollink because of it's compact feature.. Which carry on luggage do you recommend if space is a concern? Or which do you consider the most space efficient (takes up least space but holds the most in an organized fashion)?

I like the original better. If you use a table to compress the closet, it gets compressed evenly and there is plenty of room on the side of it like you found with the lite version. After the original, I’m never going back to zippers. They are a pain to close and less secure (see KZbin on how to break into a zippered suitcase with a pen).

Not all hotels have rods in closets, and some rods are placed so that the hanging closet doesn't work.

Yeah, that’s why I don’t think I could ever use this bag. I did a prior video talking about all of the warnings before somebody were to buy it. Although the company would say that you’re supposed to put it on the luggage handle. (Never worked well for me- it fell over)

I put the same amount of items in each “closet”. I feel like I could have fit more in the lite one, but they are both meant to be filled 60-70% full only
