Hi, Thanks For your videos, I really appreciated it. I am a PCA Evangelicals prebysterian, and here is the most trusted sources of my church area systems : First, we have a “columns” is basically consist of your neighborhood area, basically up to 20 or 30 famiies(that usually live close to each other) and every “columns” got their own Prebyster(Elder,usually manage the columns vesper/night sermons at each home,but also as a “wise advisor” to columns member) and the vice(Deacon,usually manage the column’s monetary) and then goes up, Secondly, we have the congregation itself, we have the Congregation’s Priest/Pastor(usually the leader) and the Assistive/Companion Priest(usually 2 or 3 to help the leader priest/pastor ), and lastly the Congregation Assembly/Congregation Council. Going up Thirdly, we usually have Regional area that consisted of the regional area of your churches’s district/small district, usually consist of 5-6 churches/congregations, and also we have Regional Assembly/Regional Councils. And going up further, Lastly, we have what we called the Synod area who consisted of all the Regional Churches in a province or a state, and we have the Synod Office, and Synod Assembly/Synod Councils. The General assembly are basically just one Nationally/Internationally Synods, but different Synod usually have different names too. For example, in UK called, Prebysterian Church In UK(The Uk Synod), while in US, Prebysterian Church in America(The American Synod). We don’t really pay attention that much to the general assembly, lol. The Council usually manage different section of : Man’s Fatherhood, Woman’s Motherhood, Youth/Teens(sometimes is divided, sometimes is mixed and lastly The Children of Sunday School..

@@ReadyToHarvest It was a great summary of core Adventist beliefs. The only small mistake was at 8:50 when you said that Adventists believe the Tribulation is already over. We do not generally believe that, but perhaps you were thinking of some tribulation during the 1260 years from 538 to 1798?

@@ReadyToHarvest I agree with earlysda. That's incorrect. We do believe in a time of great tribulation but it will not be like the previous time but it will be shortened. The difference between us and many of the other denominations is that we do not believe this tribulation period has a set time of 7 years. That tribulation has nothing to do with the prophecy of Daniel 9 which is where other denominations get the 7 years from, we believe that prophecy is already fulfilled but based on Matthew 24 there will be a tribulation period and nobody is going to be raptured before it but God will see us through it.

@@earlysda that would be a gross error. SDA believes that the tribulation is yet to come. But I believe that it is soon to come, based on events that are happening.

I thought some of it was inaccurate, but mostly true for Adventist. I know Adventists believe in the tribulation being in the past, but I don’t agree with Ellen ever speaking or teaching of such doctrine. According to what I’ve read, unless someone has the quotation to prove it.

@@Goyboth Adventist don't believe that the tribulation is in the past. (I'm guessing that you are talking about the final great tribulation of God's People during the Time Of Trouble spoken of in Revelation.) Adventist (the true and well informed ones) believe that the tribulation is still in the future. The difference between how Adventist view it and some other denominations is that Adventist believe that God's people will have to go through the tribulation before Jesus returns; other denominations believe that Jesus will come and collect His people BEFORE the tribulation and everyone left behind will have to suffer the tribulation. (Which kinda doesn't make sense because it would be lost people persecuting lost people, but Revelation states that Satan, out of rage, will persecute God's people in the Time of Trouble. Satan only persecutes those who are saved, he doesn't care about those who are already on his side.)

@@avaliausd. this is truth. The sabbath was a command for man. Christ himself says that the sabbath is for man and not man for the sabbath, if we understood the reason and benefit on the sabbath day, most Christian’s would come to the sabbath. Only because they see the sabbath day as a normal day in the week, and No different from Sunday.

Wow, the way they talked about the subject was amazing. As a Seventh-day Adventist, I'm happy with the respect I was given. I just have one thing to say: no official church document says that keeping the seventh-day Sabbath is necessary for salvation. Maybe some uninformed member said that, but it's not true. Obedience to God's law is a result of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. No works of the law can save us. Once again, thanks for the enlightening video.

@@anthonyjames3it's not the case that works are not important, but works are not the means through which a person is saved, faith in the grace of God is. Good works serve as a manifestation of faith and God's saving grace, not the other way around.

11:30 if anyone hasn’t seen heard of Desmond Doss or seen the movie hacksaw ridge I highly recommend it. Doss was a SDA who served in Ww2 as a conscientious Observer, someone who doesn’t fight. Doss is a true testament to what a strong faith in God and a desire to help others can do, this man saved dozens of lives and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in combat….without having a weapon.

This is part of what we have, to learn, if we're going to understand and few sources of information have all the information to answer all of the understanding we seek, let alone in a question like this There are logically "this many interpretations of the question", of the understanding because there are as many ways to comprehend the 'answer' or as many manners by which to (intellectually-) conclude.

Great work on the Churches of Christ-it's difficult to speak so broadly and with precision in the details, but you've done an admirable job. I grew up in Churches of Christ, went to a Church of Christ affiliated college and seminary, and I currently serve as a minister in Churches of Christ and an adjunct professor for a Church of Christ affiliated seminary. Due to our congregationalist structure (which you accurately described above), each Church of Christ can be different from another, which means that although *generally* most Churches of Christ are a cappella, some do include instrumental music in worship (especially within larger urban areas or near our various universities). Overall, excellent work! Thank you!

That is because this so-called Churches of Christ believed the worship style is Cessionist, they believe that Sunday is their Sabbath Day. Churches of Christ don't do feet washing. Churches of Christ eat unclean foods, too. This is not the church I want to join.

@@porfiriojohn5276 .. Sunday so-called Sabbatg Worship was based from Caesar Constantine Law. The Roman Catholic Church started to recognize Sunday Law Worship after A.D. 360. Even after Lutheran Protestantism to Bingham Young movements. This is so-called Sunday Sabbath Worship is fused deep in our mindset so we can please Jesus. Jesus never gave man permission to change His Sabbath day. The Sabbath Day is always on the seventh day. Man calls the seventh day SATURDAY. Therefore we Christians should kept the seventh day Sabbath day. Remember the Sabbath Day and to keep it holy.

Just to clarify, it is not required that Ellen White guide Seventh-day Adventists for interpreting the Scriptures. Her gift typically sustained what had already been studied out by the other members of the founding group.

I like learning about other denominations and other religions. This was extremely helpful. It does make me want to hear the arguments for certain varying beliefs when there are scriptures that specifically address those points.

Excellent breakdown. I'm Roman Catholic now and associated with a few of the groups mentioned. I was at one point RCIA Presbyterian. I found the Catholic Church to be the most correct and accurate through study and God's intercession. As a Southerner, the mission field is huge. Thank you for presenting.

It should be said that the SDA church also believes in a pre millennium great tribulation that has not yet occured. The great tribulation, in both Ellen whites teachings and SDA doctrine, is preceded by the time of trouble in the end times. But both events are taught to occur in the time of the end before the thousand years. They do also teach that many of the events in Matt 24 have a dual fulfilment so that might be why you said they believe that the great tribulation already happened.

All denominations are represented by Christendom(the RCC, Orthodox church, and Protestantism). They all believe the same doctrines,e.g. the trinity, hellfire, and the immortal soul. None of which have any scriptural support.

You self describe as a church jumper. 🤣 I've moved and had to find new churches and it's quite a task! What my husband and I have been talking about for a long time, seeing such intense distinctions between churches, as in who you worship with and how you worship, based almost solely on specific doctrine, mostly considered non-salvational issues. As someone who loves discussing theology, studying and learning, and over years changes stances on some things, I would love to see churches rise up as places you go where you believe in the basic Christian teachings, like the Nicene Creed, and you get together to worship God, maybe stylistically based or liturgical based, instead of theologically. Inter-denominational. Theology can be an act of worship, but in a lot of churches I've been to, being so homogenous, it is only used as a weapon and an act of self-preservation. Theological teaching from the pulpit as the primary act of worship on a weekly service doesn't seem to be the way we are meant to come together to worship. Its necessary for believers, but its place should not be kept in the pulpit.

I am Pentecostal. It's been 35 years. We follow Acts 2:38. I was 18, under conviction, and ran to the altar feeling God's presence and drawing of his spirit. Was filled with Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues. I had never heard of it before. It was real. All I felt was love and joy. Changed my life. Gave up all my addictions. Stopped smoking and drinking. Was baptized in Jesus' name. Baptism is part of salvation and necessary. Some who backslide will be rebaptized when returning back to God.

@@flight2k5 before this thread goes sideways. Baptism from a water standpoint is NOT necessary for salvation. What many Charismatics and Pentecostals understand this to mean is the Baptism from a Holy Spirit standpoint. Both Peter and Paul spoke of its importance in Acts, 1st Peter, and Romans. But even the wording gets dicey. What we can all agree on is that when a person asks Jesus to be their personal savior -- the Spirit must dwell in us for us to experience conversion and to be truly saved. In a sense you aren't just welcoming God into your "heart" -- but He is immersing you in His love and His Spirit. There, you could argue this is where the baptism happens and the transformational journey begins...

There’s also instances where you can be filled with the Holy Ghost/baptism of the Holy Spirit before water baptism but you’re still required to be baptized in water. So he was preaching the gospel to them and as he was doing this they that heard was filled with the Holy Ghost and spake in tongues and magnified God the Peter said “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭47‬-‭48‬ ‭KJV‬‬ So water baptism is necessary for salvation.

That was a respectful and smooth breakdown of these congregations and it really inspires thought. For me, I never went to church until 2012 when God really showed up for me when I was at a low point. For 10 years I went to a nondenominational church until about 4 months ago. Now I have become a Presbyterian (USA). God is good and He knows the heart.

Really love how you cover the smaller denominations on this Channel. Most videos I see on the Church of Christ are either made by the COC themselves, or by people who really hate them and call them a cult. Your channel is one of the very few sources that is capable of discussing these fringe denominations in an unbiased manner.

Great video! One thing I'd like to see, if you haven't done so already, is a breakdown of what makes a denomination "Baptist" vs "non-Baptist". Baptist denominations vary greatly in theology outside of Trinitarianism and strongly affirming believer's baptism, but there are a number of non-Baptist denominations that also affirm those theological beliefs, as well as many other theological beliefs that are common to Baptists. So is the difference primarily theological, historical, or a mix of the two?

There is a lot of overlap between denominations. Believers baptism is the core of the Baptist church, but that doctrine is also shared by Pentecostals, non-denominational denominations, and most young denominations. But, the Baptists were first Believers baptism heretics, so I guess that's what makes them Baptists.

Christ Jesus is the hope of all nations, the true form of the Adamaic hope of all who seek Him. The early church was abundantly clear that Christianity is not Hebrewism 2.0 To follow Jesus is to cease to be Hebrew or Jewish just as it makes you cease to worship Aphrodite or Odin. To have the Gospel revert and fall away from the Gospel and seek again pagan religion like Judaism, Romantic religion, or to worship the gods of Egypt or Babylon is very serious. Paganism means a rural or local religion, the religion of a nation or people. Judaism is just as much a paganism as worshiping Zeus. All those who were true seekers looked forward to Christ Jesus and are saved by Him. Moses and David are among their number. So are Plato and Aristotle who saw that the Greek gods were no gods at all because of their vice. So was Lao Tzu who sought the way to God with humility but never heard of Jesus. We adopted the name Christian very early on. And our enemies called us things like 'Gallileans'. Messianic may be a rough translation of Christian in some languages but if you think it was a different or exclusive term for a different group you're mistaken. Am evil eye casts around suspicion, it's not acceptable for a Christian to cast accusations at most of Christiandom through most of Christianity. If you're looking for problems look to the new fads and sects that are overseeing the decline of Christianity. Not the people who built it. Phariseeism 2.0 that thinks 'yashua' is any kind of sensible in English is one such new movement.

That would be interesting, but tough. Churches of Christ, Disciples of Christ and Christian Churches really do vary from one congregation to the next because they are autonomous. 30 years ago, each sect's congregations pretty much aligned with the other. Now it is all over the place. It can be hard to tell one sect from the other. Then you have the history of "The Boston Movement" that affected all three from the 1970s -2000s, with a few still remaining.

I know there is a third offshoot, the Disciples of Christ, that is fairly liberal I believe. Belief-wise, The Christian Churches and Churches of Christ are very much like the acapella Churches of Christ, although they allow instrumental music in their services. (They don't tend to be dogmatic however on "non-essentials" of the Christian faith, although they generally believe baptism should follow a conversion decision as soon as reasonably possible, often at the end of a Sunday service. Baptism is by immersion only.) They tend to be very conservative, though perhaps not so much as the acapella group. Communion is bread and grape juice, and is seen as a memorial observation. Most members are amillenial, but it's not carved in stone that you have to hold any particular end-times view. Also, Christian Churches and Churches of Christ (as well as the acapella Churches of Christ) have a belief that is usually stated, "No creed but Christ" (often adding, "No book but the Bible"). You will generally not see a "statement of faith" on a Christian Church website. It is their belief that the written creeds of various churches are extrabiblical and actually serve to divide the church of Christ rather than unite it.

Pentescostals aligned themselves with the experience that the early followers had in the book of ACTS. Read the book of Acts and ask yourself, is this experience optional? Why did all followers in the book share this experience? Paul had this experience, he wrote 2/3 of the new testament. This born again experience is happening everyday, all over the world. Born of water and of Spirit. Peter said "This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel...In the last days I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh" . Read the book "The Acts of the Apostles"..its in your bible..read it.

I'm so thankful for the church ⛪️ I go to called River of Life. It's a Apostolic Holiness Church. I love to assemble together ❤️ I love Wednesday nights when we gather in our groups in different homes we 🙏 pray , sing praises to God, break bread together and read the word of God. We do all that in Church also and I couldn't imagine life without gathering together with brothers and sisters. Hallelujah Jesus

Quick note about the Church of Christ and spiritual gifts. We're cessationist insomuch as the culture has access to the Bible. We believe gifts were designed to show the authority of the teacher, which is not needed after the final authority of the Bible arrived. But our missionaries regular report miracles and gifts manifesting in foreign fields where the Bible is not widely available. Their testimonies are broadly accepted by the Believers. But to contrast with the Pentacostals et all, we believe gifts are to show authority for teaching and leadership (absent the Bible as said above) not as a sign of general election edit: I really enjoy your videos. You're one of the few believers outside of our sect which accurately represents our positions. God bless!

One more small note: since the coC originated out of Presbyterianism (materially, not spiritually) some of our older believers have a more conservative view on Sunday. It's not uncommon to hear them refer to it as "the Lord's Day" and abstain from any organized activities which are not worship. So they believe you can do things like mow the grass or go to the store, but you should set an example to your coworkers and teammates by not going in to work or participating in sports on that day.

As an Adventist, what you said is mosssstly correct. Baptism is certainly NOT required for salvation... although some old-school SDA's may believe it it required. Salvation is believing in and accepting the free gift of life because Jesus died for our sins.

You do a good job, I like what you do. Thanks Brother. With the Church of Christ, Baptism is allowed multiple times, but it's not considered a scheduled thing. If some feels they've strayed and needed, it's welcomed and celebrated. With COC churches being not as centralized, it could vary. God Bless.

It's not and usually frowned upon for scriptural reasons but I'm aware of people who have done it multiple times. The most common and accepted "multiple baptism" is conversion from outside of the CoC but we wouldn't consider that a second baptism but rather the only valid one.

The CoC I was raised in took the stance that they would re-baptize someone in private if it helped them to "get back onto the path", but made it clear that any baptism after the initial was purely a comfort to the one being baptized and did not affect their salvation. They kept these baptisms somewhat quiet to prevent people from thinking they needed multiple baptisms for salvation On that note, they would baptize people who had been baptized in another church, but not in an approved CoC. This was because they believed that only a few (maybe 30 or 40) CoCs were truly Christian, and all others were false teachings. However, they wouldn't require a CoC baptism because if the baptism from the other denomination led you to the truth, it could have been a sincere repentance from the individual and therefore did remit their sins.

@Adam Runde Rebaptism is not scriptural in any sense. Getting baptized into Christ from a denomination isn't a second, third, etc., baptism because they were never baptized into Christ and a member of the church He built. You can't be taught wrong and baptized right. Once baptized into Christ and His church, that's the only baptism needed. There is only one. Eph. 4:5 The only thing needed after that is repentance and live faithfully.

@@hcho7776 Catholicism has some specific beliefs about the nature of the church. “Blaspheming against the church” isn’t something that makes much sense in the Protestant tradition, because the (temporal) church is a human tool and blasphemy is speaking against God, not people. Since the church is a worldly thing that is inspired by and enabled by God’s presence rather than part of God, criticizing the church can and should be done. Let’s just say Protestants have a bit of a history of that, and unfortunately a history that we should engage in more aggressively as the mortal princes of the church are often painfully fallible.

First, let me say I enjoyed your video very much. I found interesting, the various teachings some denominations hold, on different points of theology in the Bible. There is just one point that I wish to comment on (8:43-) and that is the point on which you say the SDA believe concerning the "pre millennium" view. You stated that the SDA believe that the tribulation was in the past and you said "that Ellen White taught that." I must say, I have been in the church for almost 30 years and I have read most of Ellen Whites writings, especially the ones concerning the past as well as the future. Never in all my years have I ever read anything of hers saying that the tribulation is in the past nor have I ever met a single SDA that believed or taught that. Ellen White wrote a book called The Great Controversy which its main focus is on the FUTURE tribulation (time of trouble) in many of her books she mentions the time of trouble or tribulation, always as being in the future. I must say I think you got your facts a little confused on that one. Even so, I still think that the video was very informative and well done. I would be curious to hear your thoughts on the teachings of the Catholic Church, the Mormons (the Latter Day Saints as they prefer) & the Jehovahs Witnesses, if you have any on those, since these seem to stray so far from the teachings of the Bible in the eyes of many. 1:12 the term millerite is a misnomer. Most of them were Methodist who agreed with Miller's conclusions on the second coming. They formed 20 years after that movement as Seven Day Adventist because they were influenced by a Seven day Baptist, who is a member of the congregation but not a follower of the Miller Advent movement.

I was a Lutheran, but got tired of a dead church. Nothing on salvation. Got into a small Assembly of God. Never heard of this kind of preaching. Salvation. Got saved in 5 weeks. Bought a bible and devoured the word. A year later I was working on the church property. I said Lord iam so happy I can't be any happier. I want this gift of speaking in tongues, nothing happened. Forgot about it and continued working. Decided to head home. Stove about 100 yds and my tongue started to feel funny. As I drove on my tongue was really getting to feel thick or numb. Being a Dr. I I thought I got bitten by a bee and was having a allergic reaction. I looked, no bee bites. I said one word out loud and bang I was speaking in an unknown language and crying all the way home. Just like the book of Acts. Once you experience it you will never forget. It's a gift Paul said I speak in tongues more than you. When I pray I pray in English then in tongues. In tongues the Holy Spirit is praying for you also. In my walk with Jesus I heard two distinct voices Plain and clear. And had one vision We need the Holy Spirit more than ever in these last days. All I did was ask. What agift. Tongues will cease when we are perfected.(heaven) .

@@jmcc-lt3lk speaking in tongues is a term used for someone speaking a language different than what they would normally and speaking in ways they physically should not be able to but as they are moved by the holy spirit and in order to speak the gospel to others to convince them of the power of God. Nobody ever uses this term to refer to normal every day language use. No one speaks in tongues today. Nowhere. It’s all charismatic morons acting like dogs and moved by demons.

It's kinda up to how you interpret the verse. I'd say from the outside looking in, they aren't totally scriptural, all though they are far more conservative than many evangelical denominations.

The Bible is the story of Yahweh's fulfilled plan of redemption given exclusively to ancient Israelites cursed with the Old Covenant law of sin and death and pertains to no one alive today, soteriologically and eschatologically speaking. Here's more... If you believe the Bible, then you'd have to agree with Jesus in Matthew 15:24, that he only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. You'd have to agree with Jesus in Matthew 5:18, that not one jot nor tittle of the Old Covenant law would pass away until the Old Covenant system, temple and people associated with it (what Jews referred to as "heaven and earth") passed away. You'd have to agree with history, that the Old Covenant system, temple and people associated with it passed away in AD 70. You'd have to agree with Paul, who said in Romans 5:13, "Where there is no (Old Covenant) law, sin is not taken into account." This of course means that salvation was only needed by those who had sin taken into account, which is not us today. You'd also have to agree with Hebrews 9:15, that redemption was only for those who sinned under the first covenant, which again...is not us today. The bitter pill of truth is that nobody has been saved nor redeemed for nearly two thousand years. The "Church Today" has been in a massive error; a complete hijacking of ancient Israel's exclusive and fulfilled redemptive narrative, the Bible. "But...but...I'm a gentile!" Are you? The gentiles Paul and the disciples were preaching to were either Greek converts to Judaism or the elect diaspora, grafted-in descendants of the tribes of Israel who had been dispersed among the nations. Through the ministry of the disciple's great commission, they were called out from the nations to again be a holy nation of kings and priests, sealed for the day of redemption, which only they lived to see. Nobody today is gentile of that sort. Today's self-appointed, self-professing "Christians" have been hoodwinked into believing they're sinners under a law that passed away, and need a savior who said he came for someone else, who will save them from a sin that's already been removed and a judgement that already happened and allow them into a covenant that was made with someone else. The fact is, we today were never and are not part of ancient Israel's exclusive and fulfilled redemptive narrative, the Bible. ~Michael Bradley

Catholic here, but most my town is Pentecostal or Baptist, and The Pentecostals I know have been baptized many many times, they told me even a preacher said once, you get rebaptized because you want to rededicate yourself after "falling out".. they do them often in local creeks where I live

@YAJUN YUAN I think my Evangelical Pentecostal or whatever the name is they don't have on the door, is at his like 4th or 5th baptism now, he converted about 10 years ago, and its been a thing for him, and 2 of my aunts since, a baptism almost yearly of one of them, amazing how this "Evangelical No Name on The Door" (but you know its Pentecostal) churches have exploded around here, many Pentecostal and Church of God preachers have left their old churches in the last decade to get a church of their own that has "No name on the door" they invite me and all my Catholic family, and always tell us "come on worship with us, we ain't got no name on the door!!!" yet when you go there its always an anti-catholic sermon about escaping the vile Catholic Church, it sounds unbelievable but the southern US is a unique place

One fad going through AG (Pentecostal) churches in the late 90's was re-baptism, even for people who had been baptized as a believer, but who had fallen away from their faith and were recommitting their lives to Christ. I don't know if this has continued because I left the AG around that time.

And God did it on purpose because they were trying to procreate during orgies. And in Deuteronomy it clearly states no one was castrated back then. That doesnt fit anyhow. No one is born making the decision to be celibate, nor born castrated. But that's what God wanted the lying preachers to think so they wouldnt take it out of the bible.

As a Chilean classical pentecostal (an independent revival in 1909) I'm very shocked, baptism should be done once. But of course we have differences with north American pentecostalism. Most of pentecostal Chilean churches baptize infants, sing mostly hymns (some just a capella) with traditional or national style (not much contemporary), and even churches who are more Evangelical/baptist don't allow re baptism in any circumstances, except Adventist, non trinitarian, unicitarian, and Catholic baptisms

A big difference between these denominations is that a couple of them are considered cults and one of the other is considered biblically inaccurate about certain Charismatic assertions. Discernment and study is needed. When you meet a member of SDA, be sure to ask them about Acts 10:9-48 and Romans 14 - diet. Also, feel free to ask about Ellen G. White's continuous plagiarism. When you meet a member of the Church of Christ, be sure to ask them about Acts 10 and Titus 3:4-7 - Baptism. When you meet a Pentecostal, be sure to discuss 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 - Tongues. It's good if they agree with what Scripture says. Please don't assume that all Pentecostals follow the heretical Prosperity Gospel. By God's grace, they all don't.

Why are churches so far off the mark of what is in scripture? Studying the Bible together is one thing, but having a church tell you what to believe because you are too lazy to be literate is another. God works miracles for dyslexics and uneducated people to try to read the Bible earnestly, and many are wiser than pew warmers will ever be.

Agreeable. I might suggest to be added that those whom society labeled as "Millerites" were never a denomination of their own. Labeled "Millerites" mainly by the media. Instead, it was comprised of mostly Methodists and Baptists. Many returned to their original denomination, but there was a group that went on to form the Seventh-day Adventist Church, mainly because of their conviction of the Sabbath. They also believed that there was still something significant to the prophetic time-line even though Jesus did not return as William Miller had concluded before. Also, William Miller, who predicted the 2nd coming, never became a Seventh-day Adventist. He carried out his life as a Methodist preacher.(Correction: William Miller was Baptist. Not Methodist.) 1. First you did an amazing job. It’s so cool to see how different faiths are expressed in their communities. It makes me open my mind to try to see and think as they do and learn new dimensions to Christianity I hadn’t considered. 2. As an Adventist the only picky thing I’d modify is the Elders thing. Generally It’s the womens ordination/women as pastors issue that’s being discussed/decided now as that position is seen a bit above and lateral to Elders in a sense. But Women Elders for the most part aren’t an issue per sé. But that’s extremely nuanced and you did a wonderful job. Blessings to you man .

@@Bunfire123 yes and as a global church body this was brought up for vote in the GC. Not every Church has this issue. Mostly American Churches do and I think in the western part of the country. Mostly there are not enough Pastors and women have been taking on those roles but not getting the same benefits as a pastor. I understand that to be the rub at least. And yeah you’re right, it’s geographically centered and population based. Not just a blanket church issue. Good point you bring up 🫡😇

it is so sad the the SDA do no believe in the lost books of bible and yet they are part of GOD word.The word of GOD is so huge and yet the church thinks there are only 66 books.No woman is supposed to preach on step in the pulpit yet this is not condemned just misleading.

I disagree. Adventist is not orthodox and teaches a gospel of works - they just don’t say as much - as well as holding the writings of a deranged female false prophetess almost on par with scripture. You’ve just approved a false gospel into the body of Christ - no wonder so many SDA devotee are lauding this video in the comments.

Not to detract from this video - it was very informative and very well done - but, I would say that the fact that protestantism has various denominations that all have their origins in human founders should give Christians pause. Does splitting off into different camps sounds like something Christ and His apostles intended (John 17:11; 1 Corinthians 3:4-9)? If this segmentation bothers you, I would suggest looking into the Church of the martyrs, the apostles, and the Fathers - the Catholic Church.
