something i’ve noticed in my rocket league career, is that lower ranks can smack up higher ranks as they are more unpredictable and make touches you may not be used to, depending on your rank. this is evident because i’m champ 2 and when i play with my d2 friend they’re extremely difficult to beat. harder than champ 2 even

Yeah the ranks might look a tiny bit worse because of the mmr change in 2s. The champ 1s we’re probably diamond 3 last season. I was diamond 3 div 2 in 2s last season and I got placed in champ 1 div 4 by winning 6 out of 10 of my placement matches.
