They've yet to properly use him. He was a bona-fide deep threat in college, and hasn't been used that way since. Even could use him as a fake deep route runner and break the route off for a 20 yard completion, but don't waste him like Saquon was with unproductive offensive lines. Look at Saquon now with an offensive line, so give Hyatt better routes and a more consistent QB, then rate him

How about getting him on the field with a quarterback who can get him the ball??!! That should be the plan for Jalin Hyatt. Any talks of him being a bust or a waste is unfair and not accurate when you look at the overall picture of this rebuild. Same with Eric Gray who was drafted in 2023. Both players are young and need coaching and encouragement before casting them out.

He's not playing because he couldn't even beat out Darius Slayton. The only way for him to make big plays with NY or somewhere else is if he dedicates himself to improving his abilities. Hopefully he can turn it around, but Giants are likely better off finding their WR2 in FA.

Agreed. It's way too premature and ridiculous to even think about giving up on any of the skill position players drafted from Schoen and Daboll's first year. Jalin Hyatt and Eric Gray need to be more involved.

Hyatt was a third round pick for a reason. Hes mediocre at best. Route running not good, not physical, and teams know what he’s gonna do when he’s on the field. Run straight. Shoen is the only one that thought he was worth the pick.

The whole team hasn't been that good since Eli was beaten into retirement. First and foremost, the receivers need a QB who will get the ball to them properly. He hasn't lived up to expectations because he hasn't seen the field enough.

@@nickromano25 Nabers was force fed the ball as the prized rookie with huge expectations. We all saw Jalin struggle when he was in there but a good portion of the blame points to the inconsistent QB play.. Also, Slayton was ahead of him on the depth chart. With all the problems this team showed, Hyatt isn't a player I'm throwing into the trash just a couple seasons removed from his draft.
