I was at the 2018 AFC Championship game. When the Pats won I've never seen a stadium so quiet. We were half frozen, we were exhausted, and we all just walked to our cars without speaking to anyone. Just 70k broken people.

@Beautiful Gorgeous that game taught me a valuable lesson. Never leave it in the hands of the officials. People were blaming the refs, but the refs weren't the ones who didn't play offense in the first half. The refs weren't the ones who couldn't get off the field in 3rd down even when everyone knew where Tom was going with the ball.

November 23, 2008. Grey Cup match up (Canadian Football League's super bowl) between the Calgary Stampeders and the Montreal Alouettes. The game was IN Montreal that year (they are doing a rotation, just like the NFL Superbowl). They had the chance to win it all, AT HOME. Been a fan of the Alouettes since I was a little kid, and my dad got us tickets for himself, my brother and me to be at the game. A true surreal experience for me. And they lost...... To this day, my father and I always refer to Calgary's team as ''les chiens sales'' which would translate to ''dirty dogs''. I'll never forget that one.

@joescott778
@joescott778 2 жыл бұрын
@@RyTrapp0 I mean finding out the Astro's were stealing signs using a camera and signaling the batter about the pitches. Then learning that was what got them to and helped them win against the Dodgers. And then he almost had a heart attack again when the league did absolutely nothing to the Astro's including letting them keep their "championship". In his opinion the Astro's should not have allowed to continue as a team at all. He was all, "Burn them down! force the owners to sell, and disburse the team around the league!" Then to make the new owners go though the regular expansion team process, is what he was hoping for.

2010 Olympics. Gold medal hockey game. Canada takes a 2-0 lead. USA cuts the deficit to 1 with just over 7 minutes remaining in the second. Then, with less than 30 seconds remaining in the third, Parise scores to force overtime. As an American and Devil's fan, I couldn't be happier. This is the fairytale USA comeback story. This will be a movie. Then, in overtime, Crosby scores the golden goal. It's over in the instant it takes for the puck to leave his stick and cross the line. You could have blinked and missed it.

@@mactheknife7049 I grew up in Akron and rooted for both too. That 97 World Series was bitter sweet for me, disappointed the Tribe lost, but was happy to see Jim Leyland win a World Series that he should have with the Buccos.

The injury to my idol as a kid, Bo Jackson. Then the next weekend the Raiders came to my hometown to play the Bills in the AFC Championship. I sat with my dad in the end zone seats watching the Bills just destroy my Raiders.

I’m born and raised in northeast Ohio so I’m a diehard Cleveland pro sports fan. That being said, the most painful moment for me is when LeBron first left in 2010 for Miami, and when the Indians lost to the Cubs in extra innings of game 7 of the 2016 World Series.

The Eagles tanking the last quarter of their last game last year is pretty recent, but still very painful.
