Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. As for the story on sting rays, while I was at Hawai'i with my family, my dad said that's why you always shuffle your feet through the sand when you're in the water. If you shuffle you're feet like that then you'll hit the side of the sting ray, it'll swim off but if you pick one foot up and down into the sand again, you'll step on top of the ray and it'll flip its tail up and sting ya bc that's the thing with rays burying themselves right underneath the sand like that.

Had shingles at age 45 (before I was old enough to be offered the shingles vax at age 50). It attacked one side of my "lady parts," so had about 6 weeks of unrelenting burning, itching, stabbing pain that greatly intensified during use of the toilet. Shingles comes from the dormant chicken pox virus that hangs out in nerve roots, so it tends to pop up on one side of the body (usually the torso). Chicken pox vax wasn't invented yet when I got the disease in the 1970s, so I was "doomed" to get shingles. I've also had a 10 lb 6 oz (4.7 kg) baby without meds. While that pain was pretty awful, at least it was only for about 1.5 hours...the shingles was awful for about 4 weeks with about another 2 weeks of less painful symptoms. My verdict is shingles as the worst :(

Wow! Glad you’re ok now. I’ve heard how painful shingles is.

"Always tell your doctor everything." I have a doctor's appointment today, I'll be sure to let him know that human hair is strong enough that a head of hair could support the weight of two elephants.

I was studying to become a sign language interpreter and was in the middle of an exam that was being videoed when my umbilical hernia strangulated. I haven't seen the video (I didn't want to) but apparently, I went ghostly white and started obviously sweating. froze for a little bit and then shook my head and carried on. Once the exam finished I went to the campus doctors and they sent me to the hospital. I had surgery a day or so later. I passed my exam. Another time I had a 2.5cm x 2cm x 1cm kidney stone. It got severely infected and caused my kidney to be blocked. That was very similar pain-wise. My appendix about to burst wasn't quite as bad. (It burst as I was being opened up.) Although that could be because it's ancient history (aka 30 years ago)

@@bekkakay8573 I've had chronic pain issues for decades, we honestly have no idea what's wrong, just that gabapentin makes the burning stop.

I had a kidney stone and well just say you feel something punch in The bladder like it felt like something just dropped right in like a solid rock. I was in so much pain that I couldn't work. I was throwing up followed painful number one which also had red coloring in it then followed by agonizing pain in the lower side of your body. Long story short I had to go to the hospital and they had to put me on painkillers and when they ran the MRI they did see the kidney stone. It was tiny and I was lucky I caught it right there and then. To the people who think kidney stones are nothing, look them up. They look small but they're painful and to the people who are ignoring their own physical health. DON'T IGNORE IT You will regret it. If your body ever says hey, I'm going to make your day miserable with this kidney stone And just say you're going to regret it

When I was 6 I went sledding and ran into a tree. This began a lifetime of back pain. What else? Gallstones, migraines. Once they had to insert a catheter and since I was so out of it, they had a new nurse insert it. They missed. Excruciating fits that pain. Endometriosis, right now I’m having to wait while they try to shrink the fibroid in my v-canal, fun…not really. But the worst pain ever happened when I was a child. Don’t want to trigger anyone, but let me say it this way- 3 years old is too young to lose your virginity. As far as pain levels are concerned? I have never experienced anything that comes close to that pain. Part of it is the obvious physical impossibility, but what makes it insane is the additional mental and emotional wreckage. But I really identify with Eeyore “Could be worse, not sure how, but it could be.” So I just figure whatever happens to me is going to be a step up from what I’ve experienced so far.❤️🩹
