My greatest moment was, when I was able to sneak off my lvl 5 merchant alliance sloop with a rowboat laden with treasure throwing the closeby Reaper Galleon onto a red herring chase after my ship while I sold all my treasure before they were able to sink it. At the same time it‘s a sad tale, because the greatest joy is no longer finding treasure - it is being able to sell the treasure before someone else comes along, whose definition of „fun“ is spoiling the fun someone else is having 😕

Set your own goal like getting the skelly curse, hitting lvl 100 with gold hoarder/merchant or even order of souls.I always make a plan what i'm gonna do in that session. Like gold hoarder treasure vault. But the next moment I find myself in an fof and batteling for the most sawn after chest in the game! You cant really plan what youre gonna do because somebody or something will distract you from your doing (In a good direction). This is why i love Sot

Sea of Thieves has a *"more or less"* very funny Open World on the Seas. And since *"Ashes of Creation"* is not out yet, which will have *EXACTLY* the same Fun on the Open Seas, *"but in EPIC"* in superior Proportions where Sea of Thieves just can not keep up due to it's consolery* Nature, *THIS IS WHY* People still play Sea of Thieves. There is just no comparable Rival or something in Sight. And People hoped ("coped") SOOO HARD for Skull and Bones and are just disappointed in that. 😅 Wait for Verra, dear BowStriker. This game is just like life. You start playing not knowing wtf is happening but you have to figure it out yourself. You can get screwed or screw other people but you can also experience the funniest and most memorable moments ever meet new people etc. And remember kids sometimes having a mic can save your life so don't be afraid to use it

At one point me and my duo were on a sloop kraken hunting (for the title) and we gave up to do some voyages, and a few minutes after leaving the dock we run into a kraken and kill it within 30 seconds.

I consider accumulating 10M gold, 100%ing every tall tale, getting every curse, reaching pirate legend and maxing out every faction/emissary as beating the game. Currently all I have left to do is to max out the factions/emissaries and get the two PvP curses.

Sadly all that sense of adventure and mystery wears off pretty quickly. And they never managed to make the game complex enough, to facilite more sandbox style shenanigans... I hope there will be a SoT2 at some point, but it's still years away, at best.
