Hey Bob, just wanted to say that your vlogs are always so informative, yet at the same time inspiring and easy to watch! I'm a 16-year-old guitarist, but still find most of the concepts and ideas that you cover during your videos so cool and very helpful. So, thanks Bob, you're the man!

Stop obsessing, I do it too, let it come and relax. Your son is precious, he seems musical from the videos. I know you all are proud parents, God bless you all and thanks for sharing.

Hi Bob LOVE your vlogs! It's a fascinating glimpse into your world as a player and person! One of the things that strikes me is that even on the rarified level you are on you still deal with some of the same frustrations from time to time as the rest of us. thanks for your insight!

So glad to see the vlogs coming up more often. Sorry if the english isn't on point, it's not my first language. What ever, you inspire me so much and I really want to become a proffesional saxophone player.

I love the Joey Defrancesco and Houston Person version of Moonlight in Vermont. Thanks for all of the great content and perspective on musicianship. Your thoughts on practice and professionalism have really helped me out.

Out in NY the weather is doing terrible things to reeds. Very dry and cold. Inside the heat screws with you also. can't wait for some spring.

How peculiar... I too am having trouble with reeds lately. Nothing feels "right". Perhaps it's overthinking. Anyway, amazing as always Mr. Reynolds.

FIRST OF ALL -- DOUBLE DOUBLE ANIMAL STYLE - perfect, I live in Kansas City and those are rare to come by for me..... 2nd, I know you've mentioned being a Rico Royal 3.5 guy, I am curious how you would compare them to the D'Addario Jazz Select (Filed) which would be most similar, I recently switched from the unfiled to the filed version and having the strengths set up in thirds (soft medium and hard) was a great way to dial in strength....

have you tried out a reed geek? I find they're pretty good for dealing with reed issues.

Hey Bob! You talked about your struggles with reeds, have you tried the Legere Signature (make sure it's the signature and not classic) reed, to me it's the best synthetic reed! You should give it a shot, it's very reliable. You don't have to worry about them being too dry, too moist, or even soaking them. It last a very long time, and it's worth the cost (roughly $40) I think you would like it. Let me know what you think 😀

Hi bob, huge fan. I've been playing the sax for about 20 years now, and I have a question for you. There are no saxophone shops near me, so there is no way for me to be able to try out mouthpieces or reeds, or have quick access to reeds if I need to hurry to a gig and I need reeds. Any solutions? Thanks!

I believe that crackling at the beginning of your video was caused by the interference of your cell phone sending or receiving information. May be wrong, just something I've seen phones do.

How do you make the reeds stick to the side of the glass like that? Every time I try to put mine in it always sinks for some reason. Your son is pretty awesome by the way :)
