Thanks. With the prevailing exchange rate of 85.9 for USD, the fee in usd to be reduced ..this amount may be set few years back

A few years ago, they used to charge 100,000 USD per year. In spite of USD appreciation, they increased the fee to 110,000 USD. So, I don't think they will reduce the fees. Let us hope that they maintain the fees and don't increase it further.

All seats are allotted through government only. But, if you are looking for seats with low fees, that's not available in any of the deemed universities in Tamil Nadu.

Hello sir. I live in Africa for my job.I am an Indian cetizen. My daighter is also born in India. She Is Indian passport holder. Having Indian aadhar card also. Currently she is stugying in grade8 in Africa. She has studied few years in India also. Like nursery, class 1 then class 5 and 6 also she has done from India. Rest class from africa only. Sir if she will do her tenth and twelth from africa will ahe become NRI. If she wants to persue her graduation from India. Being an indian cetizen college will not take her into normal category? And if she became an NRI what can be the pros and corns for that. Or is there any way for her not to fall under Nri category. Kindly please revert to me.

NRIs are eligible for both NRI seats as well as general category seats. Which is your native state in India?

@JustGetMBBS sir My native state is bihar. Very much tensed for her. What to do how to do. Will she really considered as a NRI if she will do her 10 th and 12 th from outside?

@@nidhichandra6039 as I said in the previous reply, NRIs are eligible for NRI seats, management quota and general category seats in all India counseling. But, you won't be eligible for reservation or minority seats. If you want to claim reservation or minority category seats, you can register as a resident Indian. But, in that case, you won't be able to get NRI quota seats. For Bihar state counseling, I don't have the details. Please check the eligibility criteria for the state counseling.
