Theory I have : Ninten and Ness are both Great Grandsons of George. When George returned to earth after studying PSI. He somehow remarried and had children of his own, who would then become the Grandfathers of Ninten and Ness, or Grandmothers, doesn't matter as long they have inherited the PSI their dad had studied. So that means Ness and Ninten are 2nd Cousins if that is the case. And I believe Ninten is Buzz Buzz since he knows so much about Giygas

my theory: the apple of enlightenment created the prophesy of the four children using as a basis the three children originally responsible for defeating Gygas in the past, for that reason, the apple chose children similar to the three of Mother 1, but not having the same weaknesses, Ness is like Ninten but he doesn't have asthma, Paula is like Ana but she knows how to pray and isn't afraid of her powers, Jeff is like Lloyd but he is much more strategic, brave, and is respected for his intellect instead of being bullied for it, Poo may have been a personal choice of the apple.

Actually, I thought Ness and Ninten could be the same person, but the difference between them could be something like Witness Protection Program after one of his sister's was murdered. It's worth mentioning that in Ness's memories, he walks straight North to his house instead of turning West at some point, so maybe the house he's in now is a recreation of that house he was born in built with Mr. Minch's money and not the original. As for why his older sister isn't in his mind, my guess is he's moved on since her death or he's repressing it.
