Literally doing this right now. If you were there when these games first released...MIND BLOWING! Breeding Pokemon, Daycare, Then to play thru the original Kanto when you beat the game?! THEN BATTLE RED?! I'm telling you! I still can't think of just a moment in time that beats this as a kid! Haha sorry, I'm high! 😂

Pokémon Silver has a special bittersweet place in my heart. It was the second pokemon game my dad got me with a yellow Gameboy Color on autumn when I was 11. That same winter we flew to Illinois to visit my dad and hearing the national park theme reminded me of it cause when I entered the park I heard my parents tell each other they're divorcing. This game was my crutch, my security blanket and it helped me during tough times in my childhood. Now that I have my 13 year old son he wants to play my childhood games (red, blue, yellow, silver, gold, cristal) so I'm opening the vault and we're gonna play all the way up to ultra sun and ultra moon cause his first was sword while I took shield, he played violent and I took Scarlett (fitting if you ask me)

Wow, you really dissed Meganium. Hilarious for me because I always chose totodile, evolving it to Feraligatr. So when Silver has that battle before you reach Kanto, it is him looking menacing, while having this same pokemon on his team. It's ridiculously funny.

Great video! I would like to add that Xatu is actually very good in this game, but not until after the Elite 4. Then you can teach him psychic and giga drain. I have gotten him on like 4 different playthroughs and he becomes an absolute versatile machine with the moveset of fly, giga drain, psychic, and confuse ray.

If you ever get a chance play an original Crystal cartridge on a N64 transfer pak with Pokemon Stadium 2, thats how I do and its my favorite way to play any pokemon game

Put eevee at daycare and have an egg. New eevee will have double the happiness. From there make it fight super crappy ponemon and abuse soda cool/lemonade all the time. Walk around. You can get a lvl6 espeon relatively fast.

It's been like two years since I made this video so and I made the whole thing in under two weeks, so I don't really remember what my thought process for certain things were. But I think I was trying to say that it felt like a letdown to have a champion that used to be an elite four member instead of a new champion. That and his fight isn't as cool as Blues or Cynthia's. Other than that, I don't really remember.

There is a way to almost guarantee that you run into the roaming legendaries. Also, mean look paired with a sleep inducing move are essential to increasing your odds of catching them. With Raikou, just use your master ball.

As a kid I always wondered what happened to the 3rd starter that wasn’t chosen. I always thought that either you could obtain the starters down the road through the in game journey or there would be a second rival. These ideas eventually were implemented years later but I really wish you were able to get that leftover starter.

For a sharper picture on 3ds vc hold select when launching the game. Sad nintendo added the dark filter to vc games, gotta homebrew the 3ds and inject the game yourself to avoid that sadly
