This episode of The Ehmad Zubair Show featuring Usman insightful! The discussion on the evolving role of a Generative AI Engineer and its impact on the future of technology is eye-opening. Usman's deep dive into the daily responsibilities of leading a Gen AI team, and tackling ageism in the tech industry is both enlightening and inspiring. His thoughts on the advancements in large language models (LLMs), essential skills for students in the AI era, and the future trajectory of generative AI offer invaluable guidance for professionals and aspiring tech leaders alike. I especially appreciate his philanthropic efforts to support underprivileged students with guidance and time, as well as his views on loyalty to the country. I am truly amazed by his decision to stay in Pakistan, forgoing lucrative opportunities abroad, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, one at a time. I agree that students and developers should shift their focus towards AI-led engineering and transition into product management roles. Kudos to Usman for sharing such valuable insights and for his dedication to making a positive impact!

He or any other Pakistani cant define the yard stick to gauge the “mehnat” require….coz global tech industry is run by Silicon Valley billionaires and venture capitalist with a lot of agenda…we Pakistanis are here to watch and spectate blindly of what is going over there in states….we don’t have anything in our control and we jump the bandwagon of tech rabble rousing which is glorifying by vultures and sharks of Silicon Valley without having an iota of imagination how it will be helpful for entire Pakistan in long run…..upcoming big wave in tech is “ creating value out of thin air” which USA stock market has been doing since three quarter of century….now this old wine will sell in new wrapper of musk-trump era by betting on big crypto than on big tech

@@LEMM28 My main goal was, and still is, to learn as much as possible within a short time frame. For me, this approach seemed like the most suitable and effective way to achieve that.
@machine1st18 күн бұрын
@@LEMM28 Implementing an ML model and using it to generate trained weights is just a small part of building a complete application capable of receiving user input and generating intelligent responses. Honestly, once the training phase is done and which outputs the trained W1 W2 weight files; the rest of the programming feels like plumbing: mapping user input to W1 weights to extract word embeddings, and piping them through to W2 to generate context words. This kind of coding demands significant control over memory and efficient memory access, which is where languages like C/C++ excel by offering low-level, "unsafe" access. Most ML related programming is done in Python, but it's worth noting that Python is essentially an abstraction layer over optimized C code.
