Flew to Vietnam with a layover flight in Korea. Some idiot customs check point officer argued with me about 20k mAh limit on power banks and confiscated it. Along with a bunch of other flight passengers. I pulled out the national flight information for power banks and they refused to look at it. The staff seems to set their own rules and no one wanted to argue with them as they too had to catch a flight. Purchase at your own risk when flying to other countries.

I'd say the 250W Prime powerbank is the true successor to the 737. It, like the 737, features 140W output and input and 21V 5A PPS support, which the other two Prime's don't have. In addition, the 250W Prime also beats the 737 in battery capacity, charging efficiency, and thermal performance.

The charging base makes it worth it for me. It's saved me so many times during power outages. When you have to actually plug the thing in, and use up a c cable, and wall adapter, you're only going to charge it when you expect you need it or it completely dies. The charging base gives it a "home" i put it there every time I'm done using it or cleaning which means I always have 27,000 MAh available to me, which is a life saver during a power outage.

First off, I have multiple generators, so during power outages, I just run a generator. I also have 3 Bluetti large power stations to power critical office equipment (and my wife's CPAP machine) until I get around to starting up a generator. I want to get a whole house generator, but that's another story. What's my point? I don't see these chargers as something I'm relying on during a power outage. I'd much rather have bigger ones that can power multiple devices for hours. For example, I have a large Bluetti in my office with my router, main port of my wi-fi mesh, Synology NAS, monitor, KVM, etc., plugged in. I've had a number of occasions where I lost power in the middle of a meeting. Now, I can finish the meeting, then go and set up the generator. These chargers are for power on the go. Notice, even the largest Anker is right at the TSA limit, which allows you to bring it on a plane. Clearly, they had that in mind when they designed this one. It ensures that if you're stuck on a plane for a couple hours, between that and the flight itself, you'll be able to get to your hotel/air bnb with your devices charged. Amazon was just doing a sale and I picked up the Bluetti AC2A for $149!!! Normally, it's $220. To me, that makes way more sense for home emergency power.

@camaralamine9746 what did you find regarding 737 from dying battery
@ESRz2 ай бұрын
This is likely due to you using the charger to its full potential. Li-ion batteries have a safe zone from 20%-80%. Staying within this limit extends battery life significantly, possibly by years. Every time you drain it all the way, especially during high wattage draw, it damages the cells the further you go below 20%. Similarly, if you go past 80%, it causes wear and tear. This results in reduced life. The higher the device wattage you use to charge and recharge, the faster you reduce battery life unless you stay within that limit. The extra heat produced also causes damage unless kept cool.

I contacted Anker they gave me a vague answer here Please note that we haven't tested this powerbank or any of our other powerbanks with any solar panel, so we cannot assure you 100%. Generally, it is safe to charge our powerbank from any power source. Whether it's a solar panel or wall charger, or any energy source, it may be able to charge the powerbank, but it will take a very long time as the solar panel's power efficiency is not high. Powerbank needs constant power to recharge itself, which your solar panel may or may not provide; you could ask their customer service. (depends on many factors) If you or any reading this know of any such reviews, please refer. Thanks one and all

If both the 20000 mAh and 27650 mAh charged to 100% in the same time using the 100 W base, that would suggest they actually have the same capacity. And that's the test that was really missing from this review: fully charge and discharge them, and measure how much they consumed (efficiency) and how much they put out (real capacity).

Can I use all three ports at the same time? I assume the Mah is at 3.4v.

Is it worth having that powerbank base for the 200w prime?
@T3CHUP8 ай бұрын
It really depends. If you constantly use the powerbank everyday and you like to charge other things next to it everyday than I’d say yes! The stand does make it easier to charge the power bank.
