There are plenty of Godly churches out there. Pray for discernment and ask Jesus for a place to call home. Believers that stand alone, stand out, and are picked off more easily. We are meant to be united in the body to serve the Lord. Most churches will have messages online that you can listen to prior to going however, the most important thing that sets a God church from world church is, "they will know you are mine by your love for one another" - Jesus. God bless and hope you find a loving church that grows you in your faith.

God has people in his life who can help him and guide him in his relationship with Christ. Holy Spirit will convict this pastor where he needs to be convicted. What the world should see through this thread is love for each other and not heated disagreement. Point people to Jesus the way Jesus pointed people to God the Father, through compassion, love, through grace. This is not a good form to rebuke people. I really wish that you would have used the King James Version when preaching/teaching not only in this series but going forth. I implore you to please research this subject. The main problem is other bibles take away from the deity of Christ, not to mention leave out complete verses and change words which end up changing the entire message. I've really enjoyed these "What's the World Coming Too" sermons. I have this problem. Biblical scholars do not agree on what will happen concerning the rapture. You have to make presumptions that are not in scripture for any current rapture model. But you did say that your wrong on some things. You may be wrong on that. When you make fun of other believers, you help Satan keep the church divided. When all is said and done, we'll will be of one accord. Hope to see you there.

If Satan's deceptions are the only thing that makes humans evil than how is it angels in heaven have bad thoughts about our wemen or God and then fall? Do they have the free will that we do? How can an angel in heaven be tempted? Is lucifer allowed to? How can a nefarious spiritual influence exist in heaven? I don't get it

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.....satan's deception is not to blame. Our hearts are continually evil which is why we must have a savior. Satan does not exist in heaven....he was cast down to earth. Clearly....1/3 of the angels were tempted and were banished from heaven for joining satan.

@@moseyballad7954 We are made in the image of God. We are his imagers. That doesn't mean we are him. All of his created beings are lesser. He is the only truly perfect being. All other beings are fallable. In order to image God, we have to have his free will and ability to make choices and CHOOSE to love and obey him. Thus, when you have free will there is a possibility for a being who is lesser than God, to choice wrongly. God knew this, but he decided to have us anyway. He knew that us falling was a possibility. God knows all things real and POSSIBLE. However, foreknowledge does not necessitate predestination. God can foreknow things that never happen. Good example of this is in 1 Samuel 23:1-13 when David brought out the ephod and asked God of Saul would the surround Keilah. God said yes Saul will surround the city. What happened? David left and that never happened. That's a story about God foreknowing something that never actually occurred. Foreknowledge of what will happen doesn't mean that it must happen. In other words, God knew that us sinning was a possibility, but it was never predestined for us to sin. We were the ones who made the decision to sin and it was lucifer who made the decision to do the tempting. The good news is God saw that possibility and made us anyways. He's playing the long game. He'd rather do that than not have us at all. In the end we will replace the evil one from Eden, the watchers who defiled heaven and earth in Genesis 6:1-4, and the Sons of God who ruled the nations unjustly after babel in Psalm 82. We will take their positions in the divine council and judge angles. God will get his purged heavenly family who will be loyal to him.

When the events of this world are finished and judged, all will see the necessity of God's destruction of all sin and all sinners. Neither we nor angels are naturally immortal, only God. I would like to point out that the idea, and theological thought that the church will be raptured away before bad things happen is a Jesuit theology. If you read the bible on itself, there is nothing to indicate such thing. I would urge you to look into what Walter Veith said about this. I do like the message, but it hurts me to see him joke about such subject as if we are ignorant or stubborn. I do hope that we as a church get saved from persecution and pain, but I see no Biblical base to support that.
