Started using drugs at an early age and that addiction lasted 26 years. Then at the age of 38, I had an incredible encounter with Jesus and He broke that spirit of addiction that was on me. Haven’t used drugs since. Jesus is amazing! I love reading these testimonies and how Jesus has saved so many people. Praise God!

@@geneboris185 well what I would say to that is drugs definitely humbled me into submission( hitting bottom) which allowed the walls of pride to be knocked down so I could receive the Holy Spirit. I’m a firm believer that in order to be born again, you must have a humble heart. So in that respect, yeah I would say drugs played a role in establishing my relationship with Jesus and accepting Him as my savior. “Hitting bottom” is different for everyone. For many of us, that seems to be the only way we get humbled and submit to God. By losing everything (or almost everything) and having nowhere else to turn But Jesus.

I'm coming off suboxone right now and could really use your guys prayers. I'm tapering off a MG a week and I'm down to 7mg from 16mg I feel like trash and I know i still have a long way to go but I need to for Jesus's will for my life. Thank you my fellow brothers and sisters in christ

I'll pray for you. I feel led to encourage you, and tell you keep going, keep tapering! 👍 Don't stop or get discouraged, don't increase your dose. You will beat this, and you will have victory in Christ. My greatest regret is not tapering off sooner. I was on Suboxone 3 8mg strips per day for 11 years. I got down to 1 8mg strip and researched supplements, and herbal remedies to prepare me for the rest of my taper. I made a plan and stuck to it. YOU MAKE A PLAN THAT FEELS BEST FOR YOU. It took me 1 year to taper off 8mg, i took my time, but i was disciplined about tapering. Last 4 months i was cutting a 2mg film( best sub for final taper) into 20 little pieces 1 piece twice daily. It wasn't comfy at that point, but my body adjusted after a few days after every jump. ONCE I JUMPED OFF COMPLETELY, i took 2 weeks off work and did nothing but lay. I Listened to sermons worship, anything Christ-like to motivate me. I only took advice from ppl that got victory over it, and not ppl talking about year long p.a.w.s. i smoked weed to get myself through the horrible stomach feeling of withdrawls, then quit weed once i was fully done and past the point of any more symptoms. Not ideal but the lesser of 2 evils at that point. No regrets. 2 years later im 100% SOBER. I feel and look better than i did 10 years ago on those poisons. Subs lie, you do not feel better on them. No 12 steps, but Jesus and the knowing i was going to be FREE motivated me. I never looked back. No more pharmacy visits, or anxiety over not having my subs in stock. No more WITHDRAWLS EVER. Normal is the NEW HIGH. I have 0 cravings 100% of the time Praise God. He really will deliver you too GOD BLESS YOUR TAPER🤍🤍

I asked God to show me whether to get the jibbyjab or not, and He very clearly showed me two paths, a vision I suppose, one path was that there is nothing wrong with illnesses being treated as He has provided everything in nature for us, Luke was a doctor after all . The other path was that of witchcraft which included taking a ‘potion’ to ward off, prevent, something from happening, a concoction that used cells from other animals/ organisms and in the testing phase of some used human foetal cells. There was a time in history when we would have been burnt at the stake for giving a preventative potion with those elements in it!

I was never into drugs. And never been drunk. For one, my family didn't tend that way. But the main reason those were things I ran from was an occult experience I had as a child--after my older cousins were playing with the Ouija board and told me to put my hands on it. I thought it was boring, and I went off and played with the cousins my own age. The parents were all out to a Christmas party. Nothing happened immediately. But not long after that, I started to have weird things happen. I started to "see" these horrible faces appear when I was alone. Outside in the backyard alone, for example. I remember it very clearly. It was like huge distorted heads, globular heads and they were speaking in slow motion. This was a long time ago, I was around 8 and now I'm middle-aged. But now you can hear what it sounds like if you are watching a video or playing with audio and slow it right down so a person speaking sounds...demonic. I would close my eyes but it continued. I would be crying and upset, there was nothing I could compare this to or anyone I could describe it to. One day when it happened I called out, "Please, please help me! Make it stop!" I was not talking to the heads. I was calling out to the above...to God. Though I didn't know then God could be called upon in your own informal, personal way, in your own time of trouble. Though the Lord spoke to me many times and got me out of trouble, even as a small child. I just didn't know that was the Lord. When I called out like that out of desperation and just some kind of instinct (Holy Spirit must have been behind this) the horror just disappeared. After that, when it started I would do the same and and it ceased altogether in that form. Nonetheless I had strange experiences of reality my whole life, many which included altered perceptions that were terrifying. I was gradually drawn into New Age practices. Don't think yoga is fine for Christians. It's Hindu practice and the demons know who is being worshipped with your poses. And the chants. It's also a "gateway practice" like Joel talks about weed being a gateway, and mushrooms. Even as a baptized Christian, for many years wanting to live right, and curbing sin, I was struggling with demonic oppression and these episodes of altered reality. The thought of doing drugs to get something like that was, as you can imagine, extremely scary and repulsive. I was dealing with this at any time of day or night, seemed to be random. NO WAY I would seek drugs and have avoided every medicine as well. The New Age took me almost totally away from Jesus Christ and the Bible. Gradulaly. Don't be fooled. Don't go there. Long story short, it got so bad, with all the affliction, poltergeists eventually, etc. I started making forays to return to a church--each time something happened and it didn't last, and I doubled down on New Age practices. It was a tug-of-war. Christ knocking at the door, the Holy Spirit dropping bread crumbs, and the devils pulling me back. they had ropes on me. It was BONDAGE. In the end, the devil overplays his hand. I got so tormented with the clear manifestations of evil I sought deliverance. That was the turning. I embraced true salvation because now I KNEW what I was being saved from. I actually NEEDED saving! Or my sanity and every part of my life would be on the rocks. I got rid of all these demons, and my life changed immediately and also over time. lear head, no chatter, what the Buddhists call monkey mind. It's just monkey spirit mind I'd say. Praise and prayer became REAL. Now I had something to sing about. If you know what I'm saying, give me an AMEN! Give me a Praise the Lord! Keep the sanctity and integrity of your mind by not opening the door. Except to the Lord who is knocking.

Can I ask what you did to measure demonic oppression? I’m also out of the New Age. I still struggle with my sins. Sexual sins specifically. How do I know that this isn’t evidence of a lack of true salvation? How do I know I’m not being influenced by demons that potentially gained access from my venturing into psychedelics and the New Age movement?

​@@colereece3902 I can just about guarantee that there are demons afflicting you. There are different types, and I found--and others seem to back this up--that witchcraft in all its forms, even if we didn't know what it was--often will have a lust spirit as well. When I repented and I mean turned away from all the New Age stuff, including breaking, burning and shredding books, cards, totems, charms, clothing with signs and symbols which I learned to recognize, etc. and the practices as well, stopping all of it. When I repented, I started to renounce it all out loud, for everything in earshot to hear. I also started to read up on exorcism or deliverance. When friend had dropped some hints about certain mental illness or troubles being sometimes demons--in a group chat--I contacted him personally. When he said Christians can have demons afflciting them, I knew i my heart it was true, and instantly, my stomach started feelnig queasy. I felt really afraid. But I was determined, because he had been delivered and was encouraging. I read a book on it by Charles Kraft. He tells his story in there, how he got into it, and then how to go about it. Also Don Dickerman, another Baptist same as Kraft, who just kind of was propelled into it at some point. You can find those books online or get their contact info online, though I don't know how active they still are. People have lots of ideas about deliverance, many believers I know take the non-confrontational approach, thinking a demon will go out with a hug. It is possible I'm sure, but not typical. They don't WANT to leave. They will stay quiet even if you are baptized until someone with conviction gives them an eviction notice and tells them time is up. When I was delivered of the most part of them, it was in two sessions, and there were immediate changes. I had chronic health issues and they ALL left. Tonsilitis, fibromyalgia, skin issues, chronic fatigue, digestive ailments--debilitating and nothing really helped. My mind was also immediately less "noisy" and busy. There was calm in my mind, such as I couldn't remember. No noise in the mind. No thoughts. A lot of the thoughts I thought were "mine" were being projected onto my mental screen by demons. They can still do that, but it's now so obvious I say out loud, "What! that's not my thought now get out of here in the name of Jesus, SCRAM!" I was then able to give up on a sinful relationship which I kept relenting on and allowing this person into my life again and again. When I saw that there was a demon of LUST, and after all the attacks I had had--demonic activity I mean in real life, attacking me and choking me in bed, waking me up and choking me, etc.--when I saw the link between all of that and my choices, there was NO WAY I would choose to serve the demons. It really is that direct. THEY get something on you when you sin. Yes, we are forgiven. I'm ot saying a person won't be saved if they have a demon--but your life will be less effective, less calm, less decisive, and you'll enjoy it a lot less. So after over a decade of wasting my time on that relationship, I finally let it go, and told them exactly WHY. They did honour that and did not call me or try and see me since then, as it was clear I was serious. There was a spiritual "lover"--and with lust there often is. They consider you their spouse. They will ruiin every chance a real happiness and success in a real marriage with a real person! You'll think it's your sabotaging, but it's more than that. Without getting rid of them, I can't see how a good marriage is possible. I have a long list of how my life changed immediately, and how it happened also in some ways over time, since that deliverance period six years ago this month! I also received the power oof the Holy Spirit activating inside me at that time. I started to sing and praise God out loud, making up songs and just so full of joy because now I was free. The demons tried to scare me and for a while it was worse here, but I lost all fear of them at that point and just kept rejecting them and telling to scram. They will not like it. They are watching me write this to you. They hate me, and they hate you. We are "theirs" to them, because they had us working for them by living New Age. We have been rescued by the other side. So expect a fight. But don't give up, you will gain all victory through our Lord Jesus. He is the Lord of Hosts--armies. They will literally help you. There is no more struggle for me with lust or thoughts of returning to the addiction I had to that person. Now it does seem obvious that so many Christians are struggling with sin e=because they are not actually free yet. They need to be set free from demons, especially if they have engaged in sexual sin, new age or other religions and eastern , native, etc. practices. I see now that sexual sin and witchcraft new age etc. are related. The covenant with God is a type of marriage covenant, to be shared with no other "gods"...same as a marriage relationship of humans. I hope this helps. I will pray for you and feel free to message me if you have anyting you want to talk about . I would like to know how you left New Age. I feel led to minister to New Age friends etc. They are impressed with how Jesus works in my life, but they are committed to doing what feels "right"--whatever that may be! In time, disillusionment will set in as it's not ever going to deliver the carrot that's always dangling. And often the spirits involved will make good use of the stick as well as the carrot, though the poor devotees can't seem to put two and two together. I couldn't! Life is easier being delivered and receiving the Holy Spirit in activation. Yes, life is always challenging. But, as the Lord spoke to me about this, "Don't add more suffering than you need to!" It's different having demons and their reps attack from the outside, as opposed to coming at me from inside and outside. You could say not being delivered is like being in a war with the enemy who ALSO has a fifth column inside you! Now that I know both sides, I can tell you, it's better having them gone. God bless you! You will be fully free!

Praise the Lord! I never accepted New Age doctrine, however, as a child I loved to read. This was the mid-1960’s and Rosemary’s Baby was in book form and many other satanic, as I call them now, books were readily accessible. I was enticed in by evil spirits/forces to only find and read these books. I was only 10 years old! I went deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. My mom worked as well as my dad and they never looked at what I read. They were glad I loved reading!!! It took my many years to stop reading books on the occult, mass murders, sexual child abuse, etc. Finally, one day at 16 I started babysitting for a state police officer’s kids and he had books on true crime around the house. The kids were bathed and fed and tucked in bed and I picked up a book he had. I became mesmerized with law and order! I think now the good Lord realized I was too young to stop this on my own and He stepped in and healed my mind. Please watch what your children read, watch on tv, watch on videos, podcasts they listen to, etc, especially as young kids and young teens.

So glad I found this video. Recently saved about 3 month ago, stopped all the drugs and porn etc, all the darkness. But I had a little devil in my ear saying 'take mushrooms to get closer to the lord' and so i have been. Until one night I had the urge to go into a dark room and speak to the lord, I had the most terrifying feeling, the most fear, the deepest darkest fear I have ever felt. I believe the Lord allowed this to push me away and warn me from this. I'm glad you've concluded what I believed to of happened and that infact it isnt of the father to take mushrooms to feel him even more, its a shortcut and a sinful one. Sober minded from now on. Never felt better. Praise the Father the son and rhe Holy spirit.

@@theway9828 I had every opportunity to take suboxone to make things easier. Thankfully I chose to ride it out. A piece of advice that I can give you, is that valium withdrawals are their own animal. Opioid withdrawal is bad, but benzo withdrawals are dangerous. Do it slooowwwwwwwwww. I was on Norco and Xanax. Norco made me sick, but Xanax had me thinking I was going to die. I kept telling my wife that I could see death standing in the corner staring at me. That lasted for almost a week. I strongly recommend you don't even attempt it while living with a Jezebel. That could be completely detrimental, if it isn't already. I'll be praying for you Brother. By God's grace I've been able to council a few friends trying to escape the prison of pills. God be with you!

My daughter is a saved child of God and i prayed to God to stop the event and he did i jumped for joy and hugged my husband and tod him about my prayer and that God answered it and i thanked God for this

This message touched my spirit. I am 66 years old and smoked weed from the early 70’s to the late 90’s. I went to jail a couple of times because of it. The last time I had a major growing setup, I knew it was wrong and I was addicted. I got caught because parents of kids as young as 10 were finding it on them. I deserved jail and it was all God planned, I gave my heart to Jesus. I now have a daughter who I love very much. Brotha i would say the marijuana is the least of the worries, it is a plant, tho abuse of any substance is bad, as long as you don’t abuse it and use it for pain, i don’t think that is a bad thing. It’s definitely way better than the pills and pharmacopeia they give out, some of which have bad consequences, if it helps with you intense pain i’d say that’s a win, better than being on opioids etc.

Try the edibles that have NO THC. I hear they are suppose to help pain. My daughter was in a car accident and messed up her back and neck. She took pain pills for years. The doctor took her off. So she just sits on the couch all day and said she's depressed. So she left that doctor and is going to try to go to another doctor to see if she can get pain meds again. She can't do much because of the pain. She has a high tolerance for pain, but can't stand the pain she has. Those pills scare me because they're so addictive. But when someone is in alot of pain, I can see why they want pain pills.

My grandfather was very legalistic with some things. But at the end of his life. He smoked weed in desperation from reliving the pain. Sugar is also concentrated extracts more addictive than cocaine and kills more people from diabetes to cancer etc. But we don't say a thing to call that a sin of gluteny even though it is. If someone puts sugar in their coffee we don't call them out as sinners and there's nothing morally wrong with that. Even Paul told us to take a little wine for our stomachs. But we still only take water the exact opposite what he said.

Meth and alcohol has been my God since teen years. As a believer I've prayed countless times throughout the last 15 or so years, often times praying until I fall asleep mid thought. (I guess I end up leaving out 'amen', maybe that's why it's not working😂). I'll have my clean breaks but I seem to eventually want to "have fun" and I go back. My prayers go out to the body of Christ, my brothers and sisters. He has started a good work in us and will see it out until the day of completion and in the mean time it's his strength that sees us through. Godspeed. 🙏 👐

I'm praying and wanting God's holy spirit and guidance. I've only been to church a few amount of time but I've been though so much with my heart and 2 surgeries 22 mini strokes before the age of 30. And yes I did it to myself because I chose not to want to be here anymore. But I'm now living through what I did to myself I had a kidney stroke and was put on dialysis also. Plus a brain infection. I had a 22% of survival. And somehow I'm here. Idk how. Except to thank God. Through all of the brain fog. I'm starting to realize what I've been missing. It's God. I need his presence. I’ve lived in Phoenix Az since 1993. I smoked the toad the first summer I lived here in 1993. It is more intense than Acid. I fell to the floor on my back in my friend’s bathroom, giggling hysterically. My friend turned into cartoon. “Yes! You’re doing it right!” It lasted for 10-15 minutes. I felt like the effect was wholly intrusive on my well being, big time. I knew to continue down that path, would surely FRY my brain to crispy burnt. This guy, Bob, had been down to the Salt River, after a rain, when the toads come out of the earth. These toads live underground. He collected three, and kept them in a prison aquarium in his back yard. The venom is extracted when the ropey glands on the back of the toad, behind the neck, are squeezed. Cook the venom on a slide, scrape off, into the pipe. These toad prisoners had the Subterranean homesick blues. These celebrities promoting this nonsense are bottom feeders.

I must say this. When I was 19 I was very much an atheist. I went to a Gateful Dead show and ate (way too much) LSD. I had an encounter and NDE (or possibly did die, see John 5:25) I continued to live in rebellion 5 years prayed for a woman, was immediately presented with a God fearing future wife, proceeded to honor with my lips but still dabbled in psychedelics and cannabis. I really needed this today. I was able to think about my younger days compared to where I am now. If pot became legal I would have died & gone to Heaven. (Those crazy days of youth) Now that we're here I don't want nothing to do with it. I have buried all 3 of my children. I could have very easily gone back to drugs myself but I have walked with God. I'm an addict myself & I taught my children well but by His Grace I'm here for something but altering my mind isn't it. I can't stop at just 1 with anything so I don't even start. God tells me to listen & learn & that's what I do. I watch my neighbors in a lense of my different stages with my children. I thank God that all the drama is over & He has them safe from this world so I can do the things He needs me to do. I don't know what that is yet but I'm ready for it.

My daughter went to the ER for bowel problems. The nurse kept accusing her of smoking weed. They couldn't believe her until her blood and urine came back clean. Now it all makes sense. This is completely insane. She said the people freak out...feel overheated and jump into cold showers, for hours. I thought she was nuts. She was rude and uncaring.
