I really do hope you keep plodding on making these videos. Your knowledge of things automotive is very welcome. I'm almost half a world away and most of these vehicles are different or not available here. Still, I'm a big fan of electric cars. A couple of weeks ago I found a twenty year old letter I wrote to Th!nk.no, asking when they were going to introduce their cars to Canada, and asking if I could be involved in that.

Thanks for posting this! After having watched some of your reviews on this model years ago I bought a second hand Citroen Berlingo EV Club XL model from 2018, it's slightly longer than this Partner, but the batteries are positioned the same. Really happy with it! It's a solid car, never let me down thus far. I wanted to ask if you could ever do a video on removing the center dashboard console on these types of cars. There's very little service manuals or videos on this. Most are for older models. I need to get under the cigaret lighter and put a backup battery there for the dashcam I've installed (which requires it to be able to record in Parked mode), but it's quite hard to open it up without breaking it, if you don't know the order which you should do it in. Either way, thanks!

I don't think I've ever needed to get this apart. If I was installing a dashcam, I'd power it directly off the fuse board with a piggyback breakout fuse.

Quite right very little help. Take care as anything you break is expensive.ie a plastic clip

An interesting watch. I drive one of these for work. Unfortunately I have been left stranded on four occasions, as it's failed to start, even though it had plenty of charge. Is there any explanation for this? One mechanic said it's because it's been left in DRIVE overnight. Another said it could be overuse of hazard lights. When I charge it. Am I only charging the main battery? As it seems to be one of the others that is failing. Also, can these be moved (pushed) when the battery is dead? I had terrible trouble moving it out of an awkward spot. The mechanic had to put it on skates. Thanks for your time.

It sounds like your 12V battery needs replacing or properly charging.

Could it be the condition of the lead acid battery

You can get lithium iron 12 volt ones that have deeper cycle

Hi there, I really appreciate you posting these vidoes about the older PSA Vans - theyre very handy indeed. I own a 2015 Berlingo Electric and I've had an amber Engine Management light come on. It went into limp mode for 3-5 seconds then resumed as normal. Ive changed the 12v battery but the problem still arises, is this something you could provide assistance with? Cheers!

You've really got to get the error codes read otherwise you're stabbing in the dark.

@@GoGreenAutos Thank you for the response. Initially, I tried reading the codes myself but every diagnostic tool couldn't seem to connect to the van - as a caveat they were all budget ones. I've tried a few HEVRA approved garages in my area and they say they don't have the software for older PSA models - only the newer Stellantis ones. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Keep up the great content 🥂
@GoGreenAutos8 ай бұрын
@@AdrianVirasami1 It might be true that they don't have the "software" for older PSA vehicles, but you don't need the full manufacturer software to do basic diagnostics. Any multi-brand diagnostic scanner can read the codes and tell you what's wrong. I only have an £800 Autel scanner and that can do diagnostics on PSA vehicles and will be far more basic than scanners HEVRA garages use. It sounds to me they are just pulling the wool over your eyes here.

@@GoGreenAutos Great response, thank you for the transparency. And yes, I remember seeing your Autel Scanner in your Renault Zoe rescue video - that ended up being my point of reference! I think it would probably be best to invest in a decent diagnostic tool then, cheers!

On the newer e expert they have a different power system but the traction motor does seem the same.
@GoGreenAutos3 жыл бұрын
Yes now Peugeot is Stellantis, they would expect it to be all different and not the Mitsubishi sourced powertrain on the previous generation.

Hi, what is the tool needed to remove that third orange plug from the traction battery? Ive removed the two big ones but i cant get that one off.
@GoGreenAutos2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, can't help with that. I don't work (or not needed too) on HV packs.

Hi, im interested in one of these vans fort my fleet, what is the range on these? and do you own the batteries?
@GoGreenAutos3 жыл бұрын
Yes battery owned. Range is around 80 miles. But for all the details on range, charging, battery etc, click on one of the Partner or Berlingo electric vans for sale here www.gogreenautos.co.uk/for-sale#h.p_Vyg8erQw-leU

@@GoGreenAutos Mine dropped to show 130 km range after about 2 years of use after loading it using the granny cable at home. If you avoid driving outside of the green or blue on the dial, you'll manage to get to 150 km out of one full battery, but that's a sport ;-)

Due to Chademo and Type1 it's clearly from Mitsubishi. In 2021 PSA+Toyota should release the new electric ones, probably with 50kwh and maybe 75kwh batteries from e-208 etc. models.

Load off crap, & you forgot one very important thing your supposed to isolate the battery's before carrying out any work to avoid be killed by electrocution

Another electric van with lots of maintenance to go with it because its based on a diesel
@GoGreenAutos4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but that makes no sense. The bodyshell, suspension and brakes are carried over from the diesel model. But then all EVs have suspension and brakes! All the powertrain, heater and air con are different and have proved robust and reliable.
@MeowingAtTheMoon3 жыл бұрын
Total nonsense. I own and use one ever since late 2019, it was a second hand back then, and it's literally needed NO maintenance whatsoever, except pumping the tires. This is about the 100% opposite with the non-electric cars I've owned before this. Not only was their maintenance more expensive, they had issues every other 2 or 3 months! So, really, I'm not sure why you're posting this, but it sounds to me like you're being paid by some fossil fuel brand/business.
