So fun...I was inspired by you month ago to create a piece starting just like this, but my final look had mixed results. (part of that was on your journal) I want to try again and work more with the negative space. .I will let you know how that will go for me. . You make it look easy. I think my mind set needs loosening up. Ha I easily chase an idea, something concrete or definite too early in the game ,esp. with canvas work. I think I do better in that department in my assemblages, or rather my assemblages benefit from a thought through and stable base, than after that, it usually takes on a life of it's own. Thank you Ina for watching...and giving something new a try ( I love the journal)! I like this technique of adding lots of layers ( something you’re already good at) and then finding my subject with negative painting...it’s what I most often do. My upcoming class is all about that...I’d love to have you in it...I can make that happen! I’ll get in touch with you. Merry Christmas Ina...and looking forward to 2021!
