When I went to Table Mountain, it was cloudy, so the cable cars were closed. I tried to hike it but only made it one quarter of the way. It was too terrifying. But even then I saw the beauty. Need to go again

It’s lovely & it reminds me of Masada although Masada is dry & not facing a city but the Dead Sea. It also reminds me a little bit of our Arthurs Seat or Arthurs Seat Eagle here with a different vegetation around. The fog reminds me of Victoria falls. Thanks.

The cloud spoils the view and when the mist rolls over it becomes quite chilly. One can hike up Plattekloof Gorge and down again (near the cable car). There are other hiking routes going up the mountain, but these can be long. The hikes around the Botanical Gardens in Kirstenbosch are beautiful, too.

Wow wow a café on the Mountain top! This place is simply amazing! For all the globe trekkers reading please share other places on earth with similar desciptions. I know of Sugarloaf mountain in Brazil and this one, both now on my bucket list. Whoever set up the top of that table mountain as in the mAp showing the layout and the location of global cities from there did an awesome job.

I drive a lot through the mountains of Tennessee from Memphis to Nashville, sooooo beautiful I never get tired of the drive. There's others too like from Nashville to Indiana, I just love driving. Anybody know these areas?
