Hiphop's craziest video ever, "What's Up Fatlip?" Can you imagine a group comprised of Fatlip, Ol Dirty Bastard, and Bushwick Bill?

In early 2009, Fatlip also appeared on two tracks on The Spirit of Apollo, the debut album by N.A.S.A., which was a collaboration project between Sam Spiegel and DJ Zegon. The two songs were "Hip Hop" (also featuring KRS-One and Tre Hardson) and "Strange Enough" (also featuring Karen O and Ol' Dirty Bastard). Other artists who appeared on the album included Method Man, E-40, Chali 2na, and David Byrne, among others.

@dethkon
@dethkon 3 жыл бұрын
@Jay Yoyo I agree that Bizarre Ride was better. But I disagree that Labcabin wasn’t also great. It’s got some of my favorite ‘cyde songs on it: Runnin, She Said, Y?, and Drop are standouts. It’s a different style, more laid back, more grown up, kind of sexy. Maybe I can kind of say it like this: Bizarre Ride is a better album for the party or hanging out with your boys, Labcabin is better for headphone vibing, or in the bedroom with your lady. That’s my taste, anyway. Of course you’re allowed to have your opinion too, but mostly I don’t want to dissuade anyone from listening to Labcabincalifornia who hasn’t heard it, because there is some really great music on there IMO.

My boy threw a show early 2000s in SF. We spent hours in the green room getting drunk with Lip. Here comes show time and Lip turns to me he says your boys said you know all the Lyrics. You do everyones verse's and I'll do mine. I was like , Ok 🤷🏽‍♂️ Got on stage and I tried. But after hours drinking I didn't remember much 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But the after party at the hotel we had was way better than the show. Much love to Fat Lip. That night was amazing 👊🏼

One of the most humbling experiences in my life having fatlip saying our graffiti was dope. I was mind blown by him just performing but man, such a beautiful moment. @@mattjamison2612 My friends generally tried to keep their older sisters away from me. . 2 years ago, a different friend finally admitted that, as we were growing up, he had always said one of his older sisters _hated_ me. Turned out she kinda liked me. Don't know how serious she was, but she really wanted me to come to one of her birthdays, when I revisited San Francisco. As for if I got the coochie from the girl from the story above, her dad was regularly chasing me out of the house, anyway & making me hop the fence, to escape, as he is 6'7 & was a piano mover, before he retired, that would move them, solo-dolo, carrying them on his back (moved one for Lars, from Metallica to his house in Marin & said Lars was a giant dick). So, I never really had a safe opportunity to get coochie. I basically just got burnt & drunk or high in the basement or the shack in the back, wit the homie.. while the girl fought with her mom & the family broke clay pots over each others heads, like it was WWE.

Dude seems to have low-grade depression, maybe ADHD. He'd probably do good on some Adderall (like a low dose) so he could focus on one thing and keep his energy/motivation up. It's really helped me. People with undiagnosed ADHD tend to self-medicate with all kinds of drugs until it's finally treated. He's highly talented & doesn't deserve to feel this self-conscious.
