Since you’ve been into the scrappy journal thing (I don’t remember what you called it 😁), I think a good first craft thrift project would be that. And you know they will always have lots of options for that! I can’t wait to see what you do! It’ll be so much fun! How big is the final cotton cut mystery ? If bed size I’d totally make a scrappy quilted pieced throw pillow to coordinate. If wall sized I’d make a scrappy quilted zipper bag to hold it in storage for when not on display

I am originally from Houston. I was there when Alicia hit. Saw a trailer flip several times from my apartment. Scary!!!! Now I am in NC and we still get hurricanes ugh
